ADVISORY | Temporary Service Interruption Due to Preventive Security Maintenance

The Angeles University Foundation (AUF) Website and Library System have been temporarily taken offline as a precautionary cybersecurity measure.

In response to a security advisory concerning critical PHP vulnerabilities, the Management Information Systems and Services (MISS) is implementing necessary security patches, server reconfiguration, and system updates to safeguard the University's digital infrastructure.

At present, no affected or compromised servers have been identified. These preventive measures are being undertaken to strengthen system security and protect against potential threats.

The University is working to restore the affected services as soon as the necessary maintenance activities are completed.

This position plays a critical role in supporting daily Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) operations by coordinating driver assignments, monitoring scheduled trips, managing inbound and outbound communications, and ensuring timely and reliable transportation services.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, a proactive problem solver, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting efficient dispatch operations.

As part of the College Month celebration of Angeles University Foundation (AUF) College of Computer Studies, the CCS Industry Internship Program hosted a company presentation featuring Duke Software on October 15, 2026, at the EYA CLI Building.

Representing Duke Software were Ms. Julianne Silvestre, HR Manager, and Ms. Raina Mae Vargas, a member of the HR team and an alumna of the Psychology Program of AUF’s College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).

The presentation was attended by 4th-year students from BS Information Technology (BSIT), BS Computer Science (BSCS), and BS Psychology, providing valuable insights into internship opportunities, qualifications, application procedures, and workplace expectations.

This initiative strengthens the connection between academic learning and industry practice, helping students prepare for their upcoming internships and future careers.

The Office of Alumni Affairs and Placement Services extends its sincere appreciation to Duke Software for sharing its expertise and supporting AUF students. Special recognition goes to our alumna, Ms. Vargas, for representing the Angelenean community in the industry and helping strengthen the university’s academic and professional networks.
