When do we use "very" and "too"?

🟣 VERY vs. TOO 🟣
Look at these two sentences:
🟨 The coffee is very hot, but I can drink it.
🟨 The coffee is too hot. I can’t drink it.

We use VERY and TOO before an adjective.
Very + adjective … and… Too + adjective

It both sentences the adjective is hot so we say very hot and too hot.
What is the difference in meaning?

Ipinagdiriwang ang Galing at Pagmamahal sa Pagbasa!

Sa pagdiriwang ng National Reading Month 2025, tampok natin ang mga natatanging obra sa Big Book Cover at Book Trailer Competition na may temang “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa”. Ang bawat kalahok ay nagbahagi ng kanilang malikhaing interpretasyon at natatanging pananaw, pinatunayan na ang pagbasa ay higit pa sa simpleng pagtuklas ng mga salita, ito ay tulay tungo sa kaalaman, pag-unlad, at inspirasyon para sa hinaharap.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng lumahok, sa inyong tapang, talento, at dedikasyon. Sa bawat pahina, sa bawat frame ng video, ipinakita ninyo na ang pagbasa ay hindi lamang libangan kundi isang paraan upang magbukas ng mga bagong oportunidad at magbigay ng pag-asa.

Sa ating mga nagwagi, binabati namin kayo!

Patuloy nating palaganapin ang pagmamahal sa pagbasa at gamitin ang talento bilang tulay sa mas maliwanag na bukas.

Domingo Child Development Center, where our volunteers spent a fun-filled morning reading, playing, and learning with the children. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Teacher Ghie and Teacher Kaye for welcoming us and making this activity meaningful and memorable.✨💛

As we celebrate the National Reading Month this November, we reached out to the young learners of our community to share the fun that stories can bring us.📚📖📔📓

On November 17, 2025, the Wordsmith Society conducted the first day of Storytelling for the Day Care Learners at the Palmera Homes Child Development Center. We are grateful to Teacher Kaye for allowing us to spend this day with these happy bunch of children! ✨

It's that time of the year fellow Wordsmiths! To share the wonder of books to young readers, and help our library grow, we are enjoining everyone to particate in this year's Book Drive. 📚✨

📌Schedule for collection of donations are as follows:
Grade 7 - November 18 to 19
Grade 8 - November 20 to 21
Grade 9 - November 24 to 25
Grade 10 and SHS - November 26 to 27
(Others can donate in any of these dates directly to the High School Library)
*Assigned Wordsmith Society members will assist student donors in the drop off area
