Desiree Jane Caroline the fiancé of Veteran Eric D. Smith, Central and Northeast Region Liaison of the American Legion Nation Headquarters, visited the Department of the Philippines’ office on September 16, 2026. She provided Dina Barritta, Administrative Assistant of American Legion Department of the Philippines several brochures, magazines and a coin from the American Legion National Headquarters.

Peter Palmerino Pretto - MSGT U.S Air Force Retired, age 66, passed away at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA on Saturday, the 15th of August 2026.

The Rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guards has been approved for Thursday, the 24th of September 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Hall of Flags, following Military Honors. The Fallen Comrade will be Laid to Rest with an Inurnment Burial at Clark Veterans Cemetery, CFZ, Angeles City.

All Military Honors will be held at Gate 1 Area of Clark Veterans Cemetery in Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City.

Parking for the Services will be at Gate 1 and 2 Parking Area at Clark Veterans Cemetery at Clark Freeport Zone, in Angeles City
It has been requested that the Fallen Comrade, the Family, and all attendees, including the Funeral Homes, should arrive 30 minutes before the above-posted time. Due to the possibility of the Family's request for an early start time.

George Edward Ward - BTCS E8 U.S Navy Retired, age 85, passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Angeles City Pampanga on Saturday, the 8th of August 2026.

Pending approval by ABMC and CFZ. The Family has requested an Inurnment Burial with Military Honors by the VFW Post 2485 Honor Guards at the Hall of Flags gate 1, Clark Veterans Cemetery, Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City on Thursday the 17th of September 2026 at 9:00 a.m.

Solomon Burgess Jr - U.S Army Veteran, age 74, passed away at Manila Doctors Hospital in Ermita Manila on Thursday, the 10th of September 2026.

Pending approval by ABMC and CFZ. The Family has requested an Interment Burial with Military Honors by the VFW Post 2485 Honor Guards at the Hall of Flags gate 1, Clark Veterans Cemetery, Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City on Thursday the 17th of September 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
