CALL FOR JUSTICE VS ANIMAL ABUSE GAINS SUPPORT
Joe Zaldarriaga, Meralco Corporate Communications Head and a known animal rights advocate, has called for stronger community action against animal abuse following the death of a community cat in Bonifacio Global City.
The call comes in light of the killing of “Ghost,” a well-known community cat in BGC, who died after being mauled by Siberian Huskies when their owner allegedly failed to control the dogs.
In a social media post, Zaldarriaga stressed that the fight against perpetrators of animal abuse is a “total community effort,” urging the public to stand together in protecting animals.
He also assured that those responsible will face justice, as more citizens continue to speak out and demand accountability.
