Combining a passion for diplomacy, leadership, and public service, Denzel Dwayne L. Carreon of Batch 2026โAlyaposa has made his mark in the Pisay MUN community through his achievements as a delegate and his leadership beyond the committee room.
Currently, Denzel is on his way to shine on the global stage in his freshman year this fall at Wesleyan University, Connecticut, USA. He is one of only 11 exceptionally promising students in Asia awarded annually with the prestigious Freeman Asian scholarship, covering all expenses of attendance at the university. Following his success in college admissions, his presence is continually felt by the PSHS-CLC community as one of the featured speakers of the โIskolar Tourโ talk by CAUSE Philippines, where he serves as one of the CAUSE mentors that study abroad and give advice on international college admissions to senior high school students.
Denzelโs MUN journey reached notable heights in the PMUNYS IVโWorld Health Organization committee, where he earned the awards of Honorable Mention, Best Position Paper, and Best Speaker. Beyond serving as a delegate on the conference floor, he also continued to contribute to the Model UN community as the Head Chair of the Young Leadersโ Summit 2025 and 2026 and as the former Deputy Secretary-General of PSHS-CLC MUN Organization.
Aside from his contributions to the MUN Organization, his leadership extended to student governance, where he served as President of the Sangguniang Mag-aaral for the school year 2025โ2026. His efforts were duly recognized by graduation, as he earned the honors DOST Secretary Award For Model Science Scholar and the PSHS Leadership Award, alongside the Social Science Proficiency Award.
Through his dedication to diplomacy, discourse, and service, Denzel exemplifies the spirit of a delegate and leader whose voice continues to make an impact.
