UBJP: Chief Minister Macacua Remains Secretary-General; No Officers Removed

​The United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) has officially debunked rumors claiming that BARMM Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua was removed from his position as the party’s Secretary-General.

​In a recent interview with iMINDS Philippines, Engr. Mohajirin Ali clarified that there is no truth to reports suggesting a leadership shake-up or the removal of any party officers.

​Ali said Macacua continues to serve as the UBJP Secretary-General.

​He challenged those spreading the misinformation to present concrete evidence or official documentation to back their claims.

​The party maintains that its leadership structure remains intact and focused on its mission. -- The Bangsamoro Reporter

“The regular working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is hereby modified to 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., without a noon break, for Muslim officials and employees observing the holy month of Ramadhan,” the memorandum stipulates.

“There shall be no diminution on the 40-hour workweek required under the Civil Service rules under these modified working hours,” it adds.

The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) strongly condemns in the strongest possible terms the tragic stray bullet incident that claimed the life of a young learner at Damabalas Elementary School, Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur.

We are deeply saddened by the untimely death of Farhadin K. Ludtia, a five-year-old Kindergarten pupil, whose life was tragically cut short while inside his classroom, a place that should always remain safe for learning. We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, classmates, teachers, and the entire school community during this moment of profound grief.

This senseless act of violence gravely violates the sanctity of schools as zones of peace. No child, teacher, or education worker should ever be placed in harm’s way due to armed conflict. The protection of learners and school personnel remains a paramount duty that must be upheld at all times.

We call for a swift, thorough, and impartial investigation by concerned authorities to ensure accountability and to prevent the recurrence of such tragic incidents.

May justice prevail, and may we all work together to ensure that every child in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao grows and learns in a safe, secure, and peaceful environment.
