The exhibit forms part of The Outstanding Students of Iloilo Awards (TOSIA) Poster Advocacy Exhibit, recognizing meaningful youth-led initiatives that create impact in communities. Among this year’s awardees is Hannah Joy Borja, President and Founder of the Alimodian Debate Society.

Watch as 2026 TOSIA College Awardee HANNAH JOY BORJA from Central Philippine University showcases her passion, creativity, and commitment to creating positive change through her Advocacy Video.

Through PADAYON, she addresses literacy challenges among elementary students while strengthening critical thinking and communication skills among high school learners in Alimodian. The initiative promotes learning through storytelling sessions, literacy games, book and school supply donations, as well as debate and communication workshops that empower students to express their ideas with confidence and purpose. 📚✨

More than an educational initiative, PADAYON serves as a platform that nurtures awareness, confidence, and social responsibility among young learners, recognizing education and literacy as transformative forces for community development. 💙

The Debate Club serves as a platform for students to develop critical thinking, effective communication, and confidence in expressing ideas. It fosters intellectual growth, respect for diverse perspectives, and the discipline to engage in meaningful and informed discussions. 𝘼𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙃𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙁𝙄𝙍𝙎𝙏-𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 2026 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩 𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙚 🥇🏆

Facing off against the Rex D. Drillon Debate Society Team 2, the 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 emerged triumphant, securing the 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 title and top awards during the 𝗚𝗚𝗦 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 2026 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀. The match was held at the University of the Philippines Visayas - Iloilo City Campus on March 7, 2026.

Through a display of intellectual prowess and sharp argumentation, 𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀 successfully garnered both the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 and 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 awards. The teams debated the proposition: 𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗥𝗧: 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 10 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱, with the Alimodian Debate Society arguing for the Negative and Rex D. Drillon Debate Society Team 2 representing the Affirmative.
