𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | "𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥, 𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗪 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡!"

As part of our Teachers’ Month Celebration, NELACians came together to honor the incredible people who dedicate their time, knowledge, and hearts to shaping our future. With the theme “Teacher, ikaw naman!”, the celebration was filled with fun games, exciting activities, and heartfelt student presentations that brought smiles, laughter, and joy to our beloved teachers.

From the entertaining performances to the thoughtful gifts, every moment became a meaningful expression of gratitude for their patience, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to education. It was our turn to make our teachers feel special—to give them a break from their everyday responsibilities and remind them that their efforts never go unnoticed. 🎁💐

Teachers do more than teach lessons from books; they inspire dreams, build confidence, and help shape the people we become. Though this celebration may have passed, the appreciation we have for them remains, because every day is an opportunity to recognize the people who make learning meaningful.

To our dear teachers, thank you for being our mentors, role models, and everyday heroes. You spend so much time guiding us toward a brighter future, and this time, we hope we gave you a little of the happiness you bring into our lives. You deserve to be celebrated, appreciated, and loved—not just on Teachers’ Day, but every single day! 💙

The celebration continued as we recognized and awarded our Student Teachers for their participation, creativity, and dedication throughout the Teachers’ Month Celebration!

After stepping into the shoes of our beloved teachers, these students experienced what it means to lead a class, share knowledge, prepare activities, and make learning more engaging. Through their creative teaching styles and interactive lessons, they showed that teaching takes more than simply standing in front of a classroom—it takes patience, responsibility, understanding, and a genuine heart for learning.

𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑲 | 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑭𝑰𝑵𝑨𝑳 𝑫𝑨𝒀 𝑶𝑭 𝑩𝑬𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑺𝑻𝑼𝑫𝑬𝑵𝑻-𝑻𝑬𝑨𝑪𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑺 👩‍🏫📚✨

Three days, countless lessons, and memories that will surely be remembered. As our 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕-𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 comes to an end, our students took one final opportunity to step in front of the classroom and experience the world of teaching.

For the last day, our student-teachers brought 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 into their assigned classes. From engaging games and interactive activities to creative discussions and different ways of sharing knowledge, they made the most of their final day as teachers. 🎲📝

What started with nervous steps in front of the classroom slowly turned into moments of confidence, laughter, and connection. Along the way, our students discovered that 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉—𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆. ❤️

This experience may have lasted only a few days, but it gave our students something much bigger—a 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌, 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒃𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓. 🍎

And as we close this special Teachers’ Day activity, our greatest lesson is not found in the activities we conducted or the lessons we taught. It is found in the appreciation we gained for the teachers who do this every day.

To all our teachers, 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖—for every lesson, every reminder, every word of encouragement, and every moment you chose to believe in us. 💐

The learning continues, but this time, 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦. 🍎

For the second day of our 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, our student-teachers returned with fresh ideas and renewed confidence. With our teachers enjoying their well-earned break, students once again took the front of the classroom and turned ordinary lessons into 𝗙𝗨𝗡, 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦. 🎲📝

From lively 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦, thoughtful discussions, hands-on 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦, and creative ways of explaining their lessons, every student-teacher brought something different to the classroom. Some surprised their classmates with their confidence, while others showed that a great teacher can make learning exciting simply by bringing their own personality into the room. 🌟

But Day 2 wasn't only about having fun. It was another opportunity to understand the 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚. Preparing what to say, keeping a class focused, answering questions, and making sure everyone stays involved gave our students a small glimpse of the dedication our teachers give every school day.

And as we celebrate Teachers’ Day, this experience becomes more than just an activity. 𝗜𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗔 𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗬 “𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨” 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘. 💐

For every time our teachers patiently explain a difficult topic, encourage us when we struggle, celebrate our progress, and continue believing in us—𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗪𝗘 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗗𝗢 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗨𝗦. ❤️

Two days in, and the students may be getting better at teaching—but they're also becoming better at 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫✨

A WEEK IN THEIR SHOES

For one week, students stepped into the shoes of teachers—not just to teach lessons, but to experience what it truly means to stand in front of a classroom. From preparing lessons and managing a class to answering questions and keeping everyone focused, we got a little taste of what our teachers do every day.

So, we asked our student teachers one simple question: “What was it like being a teacher?”

The answers? One word. Some were funny, some were positive, and some… were definitely honest. But behind every answer was a glimpse of an experience that helped us appreciate the work our teachers do.

Our answers may have been just one word some positive, some negative but together, they remind us that teaching comes with both beautiful and challenging moments.

To all our teachers, thank you for your patience, your sacrifices, and for choosing to make a difference in the lives of your students. Thank you for teaching us not only what’s written in books, but also lessons that we carry beyond our classrooms.

Because behind every student who learns is a teacher who never stops giving.

Today, the classroom looked a little different as our students stepped out of their usual seats and into the shoes of their teachers! For the first day of our 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, selected students took on the responsibility of 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 while our beloved teachers enjoyed a 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸. 🍎

With creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm, our student-teachers found their own ways to make learning more fun and engaging. From 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 🎲 and 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 📝 to creative discussions, demonstrations, and different 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, each student-teacher brought their own personality and teaching style into the classroom.

Some stepped in front of the class with confidence, while others discovered that teaching takes more than simply knowing the lesson. It requires 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Through this experience, our students got a glimpse of what our teachers do every day to guide, encourage, and inspire their learners.

More than just taking over the classroom, this activity gave our students a chance to 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀. Every lesson taught became a lesson learned—not only about the subject, but also about 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. 💙

For today, 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦, while our teachers stepped back, rested, and watched their students take the lead. And as the classrooms filled with games, discussions, laughter, and learning, one thing became clear: 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻. ✨
