🌧️ RAINY SEASON ALERT! 🌧️
Did you know that the rainy season brings a higher risk of getting sick from W.I.L.D. Diseases? 😷
W.I.L.D. stands for:

🔹 Water- and food-borne diseases (like diarrhea and cholera)
🔹 Influenza-like illnesses (cough, colds, fever)
🔹 Leptospirosis (from dirty floodwater with rat urine)
🔹 Dengue (from mosquito bites)

These illnesses spread FAST after heavy rains and flooding. But the good news is — we can prevent them with simple actions:

✅ Drink only clean and safe water
✅ Always wash your hands with soap
✅ Avoid walking in floodwater, especially with wounds
✅ Keep surroundings clean and get rid of standing water to stop mosquitoes
✅ Wear protective gear like boots and raincoats
✅ Use mosquito repellent and stay indoors during peak mosquito hours
✅ And if you feel sick — see a doctor right away!

On June 27, A new chapter unfolded as the Red Cross Youth Council of Arboleda National High School successfully held its Election of Officers for the School Year 2026–2027.
True leadership is not measured by the position one holds, but by the dedication to help others. As these newly elected officials embark on their journey, may they transform every challenge into positive change, every duty into an act of devotion, and every opportunity into an act of compassion.

Clean up drive and maintaining the cleanliness in handwashing area

Today July 24, 2026, the Red Cross Youth (RCY) of Arboleda National High School (ANHS) held a clean-up drive and cleaned the handwashing area. This activity helps keep students safe from germs and bacteria.

This activity is more than just sweeping away trash, it restores our connection to the spaces we live in. RCY officers and members pick up litter and forgotten spaces are restored and refreshed. Clean, cared-for environments promote mutual respect, create a sense of community pride, and help turn forgotten areas into safe and peaceful places for all.

Through simple acts of service like today’s clean-up drive, the Red Cross Youth continues to prove that a safer, healthier school starts with us. Together, we can keep Arboleda National High School clean, safe, and thriving.

𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐮𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐤

Naging matagumpay ang pagsasagawa ng makabuluhang inisyatiba na CPR Caravan na inilunsad ng Philippine red Cross Pangasinan Chapter. Nagbigay ito ng Isang napakahalang kaalaman at kasanayan na tataksa kanilang isip at puso tungkol sa life saving, dahil ang bawat segundo ay may katumbas na buhay.

Natutunan ng mga kalahok ang kahalagahan ng maagang pagkilala sa cardiac arrest sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanay na ito. Ang wastong pagsasagawa ng Hands-Only CPR, at ang mahalagang papel ng bawat mamamayan sa pagbibigay ng agarang tugon sa oras ng pangangailangan.

Dahil hindi nasusukat ang kabayanihan base sa laki ng nagawa, kundi sa kahandaang tumugon at kumilos para sa kapwa. Sa bawat pintig ng pusong may kaalaman, may panibagong pag-asa, sa bawat tamang pagtugon, may pagkakataong muling tumibok ang buhay.

Naganap na CPR Caravan ay hindi lamang isang pagsasanay, Ito ay Isang hakbang kung saan ang kaalaman at nakamit ang pagmamalasakit, at ang ating mga simpleng kamay ay nagkakaroon ng kapangyarihan upang makapagligtas ng buhay

Dahil ang bawat tamang pagtugon ay may kaakibat na napakahalang buhay.

BASAHIN: CPR Caravan ng Philippine Red Cross Pangasinan sa tulong ng 104th Maneuver Company Regional Mobile Force Batallion I , Nagbigay ng Life-Saving Skills sa Iba't Ibang Komunidad

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Philippine Red Cross Pangasinan Chapter at 104th Maneuver Company Regional Mobile Force Batallion I ang CPR Caravan 2026 bilang bahagi ng kampanya nito na mapalawak ang kaalaman ng publiko sa tamang pagsasagawa ng cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at agarang pagtugon sa mga insidente ng cardiac arrest.

Sa isinagawang pagsasanay, tinuruan ang mga kalahok ng tamang pagkilala sa mga senyales ng cardiac arrest, wastong pamamaraan ng Hands-Only CPR, at ang kahalagahan ng maagap na aksyon upang mapataas ang tsansa ng kaligtasan ng isang biktima habang hinihintay ang pagdating ng mga emergency responder. Ayon sa Philippine Red Cross, mahalaga ang pagkakaroon ng sapat na kaalaman sa CPR dahil sa panahon ng emerhensiya, ang bawat segundo ay may malaking epekto sa pagliligtas ng buhay. Sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanay na ito, mas maraming mamamayan ang naging handa na tumugon sa mga hindi inaasahang sitwasyon.

Naging matagumpay ang programa sa tulong ng iba't ibang katuwang na institusyon kabilang ang LGU Urdaneta, Urdaneta City Health Office, Universidad de Dagupan, Bolingit Elementary School sa San Carlos City, LGU Tayug, BJMP Balungao, Maseil-seil Alo-o National High School sa Umingan, Laoac National High School, at mga paaralan sa Alcala sa pamamagitan ng kanilang Red Cross Youth Council, kabilang ang Arboleda NHS, Bersamin-Agro High School, Cipriano Primicias NHS, San Pedro Apartado NHS, at San Pedro Ili Elementary School.

Patuloy namang hinihikayat ng Philippine Red Cross Pangasinan ang publiko na makiisa sa mga programang pangkaligtasan upang sama-samang makabuo ng isang komunidad na mas ligtas, mas handa, at mas matatag sa anumang uri ng emerhensiya.
