PHILIPPINE RED CROSS ALCALA CHAPTER SUPPORTS MR-SIA 2026
Today, August 19-20, 2026, the Philippine Red Cross – Alcala Chapter proudly joins the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) in Barangay Barangay Afusing Batu, Barangay Cabuluan, Centro Sur and Centro Norte.
Through this campaign, children aged 6 to 59 months will receive free protection against measles and rubella, helping ensure that no child in our municipality is left vulnerable to preventable illnesses.
The Philippine Red Cross - Alcala Chapter actively reaffirms its full support for the 2026 Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA), in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), Municipal Health Offices (MHOs), and local government units across the province.
Measles and Rubella are highly contagious viral infections that can lead to severe health complications. However, through timely vaccination, we can completely protect our children and prevent outbreaks in our communities.
