🚗 KASAMA goes benchmarking! Learning from the Best..
Last April 29, 2026, members of the Kapunungan sa Mang-Asinay sa Alburquerque (KASAMA) traveled to the Municipality of Getafe for a meaningful learning visit with the Cangmundo Sustainable Livelihood Program Association (SLPA), Inc. in Brgy. Cangmundo.
Despite the 2 to 3-hour drive from Alburquerque, the journey was absolutely worth it! Our main objective was to immerse ourselves in their operations and bring home valuable best practices that we can implement within KASAMA. Cangmundo SLPA is an inspiration, having recently earned 2nd Place in the 2025 Gawad Sulong for the Best Microenterprise Association Category (Regular Implementation). 🏆👏
A HUGE THANK YOU to DENR-CENRO (Bohol), represented by Ms. Crea Ocdenaria, and the Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) for their invaluable assistance and support in making this benchmarking activity a huge success.
