For many years, the MAST Sisters toiled in the Diocese of Tgabilaran, where their presence and services were needed, and where they had their roots. They were the first Sisters who managed the Sunshine Home for orphan and abandoned children. Later, they opened an elementaryvschool for the needy children of the community and served in various capacities under the supervision of Bishop Leopoldo Tumulak, DD, the MAST co- founder. True their vacation, the MAST Sisters centered on the Trinity and Mary as the focal point of their Spirituality. As they grew, the Mission seem to beckon more strongly, they knew in their hearts that their love for Trinity has to be celebrated and must find meaning in the "Mission". On December 18, 1988, Bishop Felix Zafra and Sr. Monica Bermiso, MAST, came to the United States for mission purposes. In due time, the Cardinal of Los Angeles offially invited the MAST Sisters to work in Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Cecile Faith Inting, MAST followed Sr. Monica to yhe mission in Long Beach, California as one of the Asian missionaries in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles that would serve especially for Filipino Communities. Mission worked is never finished. As the MAST Sisters continue to toil in the current vine yard given to them by the Lord to tend and nourish in USA, the MAST Sisters in the Philippines to continue to labor in serving our fellow Filipino people especially the unfortunate and less privilige ones. To further assist the cry for help of the deprived sector of children, the MAST Sisters headed by Sr. Monica Bermiso, MAST and assisted by Sr. Mae Balili, MAST are spreading their arms wide open in catering these neglected, abused, abandoned and orphaned children of Bohol by putting up a center.
