After careful monitoring through both fixed and non-fixed inspection schedules, the section emerged as 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝟏, demonstrating continued excellence in cleanliness, organization, and eco-conscious practices.

Their adviser, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠 𝐂. 𝐏𝐞ñ𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥, continues to lead by example and inspire his class toward discipline and environmental stewardship. In recognition of this sustained leadership, he remains a proud bearer of the 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 distinction.

YES-O proudly awarded Grade 7 - Agape 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝟏 in its Week 2 Classroom Inspection held on February 9-13, 2026.

The inspection team conducted monitoring through both fixed and non-fixed schedules, visiting classrooms randomly two to three times during the week to ensure fairness and consistency. Grade 7 - Agape stood out the most for consistently maintaining exemplary cleanliness and practicing eco-friendly habits.

Their adviser, Ms. Joanni M. Umali, was conferred the title 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 in recognition of her outstanding guidance and leadership.

𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟏 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 under the Phase II of the Rise of the Next Avatar Project

The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒅 Week 1 of its School-Based Classroom Inspection for both Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS).

After a thorough evaluation, two sections tied for 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝟭, showcasing remarkable dedication to keeping their classrooms clean, organized, and aligned with sustainable practices:
• 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟴 - 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁
• 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝟭𝟭 - 𝗙𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶

Both sections were honored with the 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 and received a 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗶𝘁 as a token of appreciation for their consistent efforts in upholding eco-friendly practices.

Schoolwide Program on Proper Waste Management

The 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟎 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 capped off the Trash Talk series today, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, with energy and insight.

The session featured an interactive discussion that deepened students’ understanding of environmental responsibility. The program also highlighted the awarding of certificates to both participants and facilitators, in recognition of their active engagement and invaluable contributions throughout the event.

Schoolwide Program on Proper Waste Management

The 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟗 Trash Talk sessions held last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, were a success, showcasing the active participation and environmental awareness of the students.

Trash Talk No. 1, facilitated by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐃. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳, featured a comprehensive discussion on the two types of waste based on biodegradability, followed by a mental showdown. The activity aimed to address one of the root causes of flooding--ignorance--by equipping students with the right knowledge.

Meanwhile, Trash Talk No. 2, facilitated by Ms. Zyra V. Ducay, centered on 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫, inspiring participants to become better stewards of the Earth.

Schoolwide Program on Proper Waste Management

Today, our 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 took their turn in the continuing series of Trash Talk, a schoolwide program of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O).

The session featured insightful discussions on the importance of proper waste management and its connection to everyday choices, environmental responsibility, and disaster preparedness.

Students also actively engaged in interactive activities such as the 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 and 𝗜𝗗 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲, where knowledge was put to the test and rewarded with points and school supplies.

In addition, registrations for the 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 were opened, inviting students to officially become part of this creative movement toward environmental action.

Schoolwide Program on Proper Waste Management

Today, our Grade 7 students took the lead as we kicked off Trash Talk, YES-O’s schoolwide program on proper waste management.

🌿Ms. Reshelyn D. Fernandez, YES-O Secretary, former Grade 10 representative, shed light on the root causes of flooding, linking it to both ignorance and negligence in managing waste.
🌿Ms. Zyra V. Ducay officially opened the “Rise of the Next Avatar” initiative, inspiring students to become more responsible stewards of the Earth.

The program wasn’t all talk as students also took part in a lively Mental Showdown and ID Challenge, where their knowledge earned them points and prizes like school supplies.

Fire Lord Ozai sought to dominate the Four Nations through flames and destruction, and his greed for power mirrors the threats we face today--pollution that poisons our air and water, deforestation that strips our lands bare, climate change that heats the Earth like unending fire, and biodiversity loss that disrupts the balance of life.

Just as Ozai’s war threatened harmony in Avatar’s world, our neglect of nature endangers our own. Will you stand with the Four Nations to protect the world, or stay silent as Ozai’s destruction spreads?
