“I would like to take this opportunity to address the political backers and influential supporters of fugitive Apollo C. Quiboloy. I respectfully urge you to exemplify true leadership by advising Mr. Quiboloy to adhere to the rule of law and to address the accusations against him through the proper legal channels.

As a nation, we are all bound by the rule of law, and we must uphold these principles without exception. This matter transcends legal obligations; it serves as a testament to the principle that no one is above the law.

Quiboloy's political backers and benefactors understand well that obstruction of justice and harboring a fugitive or being complicit in such actions are serious offenses. Their support must underscore the necessity for clarity and responsibility in this situation.

The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) and its members need to align their actions with the teachings of the Bible, which instructs us to respect and submit to lawful authority. As stated in Romans 13:1, ‘Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.’

The Philippine National Police acknowledges the unfortunate passing of an individual during the recent operations related to the KOJC. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. It is important to clarify that this incident was isolated and had no direct connection to the operation itself.

The law applies equally to all, and any attempt to evade justice undermines the very foundation of our society. I encourage KOJC members to act by their faith and to refrain from allowing themselves to be used in ways that contravene the rule of law.

The Philippine National Police remains steadfast in its commitment to enforcing the law fairly and justly, ensuring that justice is served for all.”

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Mayor Salway 'Jun' Sumbo, Jr. extends his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Dhem Aj Monton for securing a bronze medal in the Men's 1,500-meter athletics event at the 21st ASEAN University Games 2024, held in Surabaya, Indonesia, on July 3, 2024.

In recognition of Mr. Monton's achievement and his representation of the Municipality of Malapatan on an international stage, Mayor Sumbo, Jr. has also provided financial support to further honor his success and contributions to the Philippines.

KKDAT Sarangani Launched Project Saving Hope, Eye To Empower Youth and Combat Social Ills.

Malapatan, Sarangani Province – In a commendable effort to empower the youth and shield them from the threats of illegal drugs, terrorism, and criminality, Kabataan Kontra Droga At Terorismo (KKDAT) Sarangani successfully launched Project Saving Hope this morning at IP Calay Elementary School, Purok Puting Bato, Barangay Lun Masla.

The event, which was attended by local officials, community leaders, educators, and volunteers, marked a significant step towards supporting the educational needs of students in this remote area. KKDAT Sarangani’s initiative aims to provide essential school supplies and resources, ensuring that young learners have the necessary tools to succeed academically and stay on a positive path.

KKDAT Sarangani Federation President, Edelle Mae D. Masamlok, highlighted the importance of the project in his opening remarks, stating, "Education is a powerful weapon against the challenges our youth face. Through Project Saving Hope, we are not just giving out school supplies; we are giving these children a fighting chance to build a brighter future and steer clear of destructive influences."

The morning’s activities included the distribution of notebooks, pencils, crayons, and educational materials specifically designed to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and crime. Volunteers also conducted interactive sessions to educate the students on how to stay safe and make informed decisions.

Sarangani Police Provincial Office-Pro 12, headed by the Provincial Director, PCOL DEANRY R FRANCISCO, praised the initiative, recognizing the impact such projects can have on the community. "This program is a testament to what we can achieve when we work together for a common cause." Meanwhile, PCPT MA GUSCEL L ANDRADA - FJGAD OFFICER. "It’s inspiring to see the dedication of KKDAT Sarangani in fostering a safer, more educated future for our children."

The success of Project Saving Hope serves as a beacon of hope for other communities facing similar challenges. KKDAT Sarangani plans to continue their outreach, aiming to replicate this model in other parts of the province, ensuring that more children benefit from their noble mission.

Malapatan Municipal Police Station headed by PMAJ LLOYD LEVIN D CAIGAS, COP, show their support to the students of IP Calay Elementary School by giving books to inspire and encourage the students.

As the event concluded, the smiles on the faces of the young beneficiaries and the gratitude expressed by their parents and teachers underscored the profound impact of this initiative. Project Saving Hope not only provided material support but also instilled a sense of community and collective responsibility towards nurturing the next generation.

The Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo Sarangani in coordination with Sarangani Police Provincial Office headed by PCOL DEANRY R FRANCISCO, Provincial Director conducted community engagement through Project Saving Hope at IP Calay Elementary School, purok Puting Bato, Lun Masla, Malapatan, Sarangani Province.

The activity was participated by KKDAT officers led by Edelle Mae Masamlok, Provincial KKDAT president and members, purok officials, parents and elementary grade pupils of the said school. Activities such as giving of school supplies, feeding program and lectures on the effects of illegal drugs and anti-terrorism campaign were being undertaken.

Project Saving Hope is the initiative of KKDAT Sarangani that aims to reach the youth especially those belongs to the Indigenous people to inspire them to attain their highest potentials.
