KKDAT Sarangani Launched Project Saving Hope, Eye To Empower Youth and Combat Social Ills.
Malapatan, Sarangani Province โ In a commendable effort to empower the youth and shield them from the threats of illegal drugs, terrorism, and criminality, Kabataan Kontra Droga At Terorismo (KKDAT) Sarangani successfully launched Project Saving Hope this morning at IP Calay Elementary School, Purok Puting Bato, Barangay Lun Masla.
The event, which was attended by local officials, community leaders, educators, and volunteers, marked a significant step towards supporting the educational needs of students in this remote area. KKDAT Saranganiโs initiative aims to provide essential school supplies and resources, ensuring that young learners have the necessary tools to succeed academically and stay on a positive path.
KKDAT Sarangani Federation President, Edelle Mae D. Masamlok, highlighted the importance of the project in his opening remarks, stating, "Education is a powerful weapon against the challenges our youth face. Through Project Saving Hope, we are not just giving out school supplies; we are giving these children a fighting chance to build a brighter future and steer clear of destructive influences."
The morningโs activities included the distribution of notebooks, pencils, crayons, and educational materials specifically designed to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and crime. Volunteers also conducted interactive sessions to educate the students on how to stay safe and make informed decisions.
Sarangani Police Provincial Office-Pro 12, headed by the Provincial Director, PCOL DEANRY R FRANCISCO, praised the initiative, recognizing the impact such projects can have on the community. Malapatan Municipal Police Station headed by PMAJ LLOYD LEVIN D CAIGAS, COP, show their support to the students of IP Calay Elementary School by giving books to inspire and encourage the students.
