AJUY, ILOILO โ Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) Ajuy Campus successfully conducted its 24th NSTP Completion and Recognition Ceremony on June 10, 2026, at the NISU Ajuy Covered Court, recognizing the accomplishments of NSTP completers and honoring individuals who demonstrated excellence in service, leadership, and civic engagement.
The event gathered students, faculty members, administrators, NSTP implementers, NSRC officers, and distinguished guests in a meaningful celebration of the students' completion of the National Service Training Program.
Highlighting the ceremony was the inspirational message delivered by RAUL E. FERNANDEZ, MCDRM, Regional Director of the Office of Civil Defense Region VI, who served as the Guest Speaker. In his address, he emphasized the importance of volunteerism, disaster preparedness, leadership, and active citizenship in building resilient communities.
The ceremony was also graced by the presence of DR. ANTHONY B. SAMUEL, University Director for NSTP; RAMON CAESAR T. ROJAS, MGDH I/LDRRMO; LCDR ROMEL C. SUMAGAYSAY, PN, Commandant of the 872nd NROTCU and Induction Officer; and QMC WENE E. BALDEO, PN, Training NCO.
Leading the campus administration and NSTP program implementation were DR. JOEY S. DELA CRUZ, Campus Administrator, and DR. JAY F. FALAGNE, NSTP Coordinator, together with the dedicated NSTP Implementers and NSRC Officers who played vital roles in the success of the program.
One of the significant highlights of the ceremony was the recognition of outstanding NSTP completers and active NSRC members for their exemplary contributions to community service, leadership, and volunteerism. The induction of newly elected NSRC officers also marked a renewed commitment to sustaining community engagement and public service initiatives beyond program completion.
The event concluded with expressions of gratitude to all stakeholders whose support contributed to the successful conduct of the ceremony. As the completers embark on new journeys, they carry with them the core NSTP values of patriotism, service, leadership, and social responsibility.
