Agoo East Central School humbly affirms its commitment to transparent and meaningful learner leadership through the successful conduct of the Learner Government Elections Field Monitoring and Evaluation — a significant initiative that strengthens participatory governance and youth empowerment in the school community.
The mentioned activity gathered the incoming SELG President Liam Jacob O. Songcuan and it’s officers for S.Y. 2026–2027, the Outgoing SELG President led by Jumarie G. Zarate, together with the YES-O Presidents, Lian Francis P. Orpilla (incoming) and Mickaela Kloe D. Emperador (outgoing), newly-elected LRP President Zenon Leolene Dela Cruz, Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) officers, equally dedicated Teacher-Advisers, all demonstrating how leadership becomes meaningful when translated into service, collaboration, and purposeful action.
The monitoring and evaluation were strengthened by the presence of distinguished evaluators: Ma’am Gina Rullamas-Viduya (Central Office), Roxanne Cases and Dennis Panida (Region I – LRP), Ryan Rimas (PDO I, San Fernando), Marlon Canave (SEPS, LUSD), and Edelito D. Chan (PDO I, LUSD), whose professional insights affirmed the school’s commitment to quality implementation and continuous improvement of learner government programs.
Utilizing the Learner Government COMEA Monitoring Tool and the Youth Formation Programs, Projects and Activities, Monitoring Tool, the activity ensured that learner government electoral processes and youth development initiatives remain anchored on accountability, inclusivity, and excellence - truly putting leadership into action and excellence into motion within the school community.
This significant undertaking was made possible through the collaborative leadership of the School Principal-Mrs. Blinda M. Balderas and OIC Office of the School Principal-Ma. Asuncion J. Laroya, SELG Adviser- Mr. Juan V. Villarin Jr., LG COMEA Commissioners- Ms. Raquel Fatima R. Selga and Ms. Jonalyn E. Lachica, whose shared vision and dedication transformed the activity into a meaningful demonstration of participatory governance.
