🌧️Rain or ☀️Shine, Preparation For Disaster Never Stops:

Even through the rain, the preparation for disaster never stops.

Through the combined forces of the AKSS Volunteer Brigade (AVB), Citizenship Training Program (CTP), and Red Cross Youth (RCY), the monthly earthquake drill continues this day, July 27, 2026. Led by Dr. Manuel Libao, the three organizations combined forces to make sure the drill still continues.

The AVB had its members act as the victims of the disaster. While the CTP made use of the new stretchers provided by the CTP and RCY to extricate the casualties. On the other hand, the RCY demonstrated their capabilities and treated the casualties.

On another note, the AVB would like to extend our gratitude to a previous member and officer of the AVB, Mr. Shawn Apillanes

Prepared today, protected tomorrow. 🏫🚨

Mr. Manuel Libao (Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Adviser), together with the Elementary Advisers and the AKSS Volunteer Brigade (AVB) students, conducted an Earthquake Drill for the Elementary Department, helping young learners practice proper safety procedures and build confidence in responding calmly and responsibly during emergencies.

The drill was held on June 19, 2026, and will be conducted monthly.

Empowering young lifesavers through knowledge and hands-on experience. ❤️⛑️

Our sincere gratitude to the Red Cross members from San Fernando City, La Union, for sharing their expertise and equipping us with essential life-saving skills that can make a difference when every second counts.

Through engaging discussions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on activities, they taught us how to act with confidence, and respond effectively during emergencies.

This training not only strengthened our knowledge and skills but also marked in us a greater sense of responsibility, compassion, and commitment to serving our school and community.
