MECHANICS:
1. Must be a winner in a battle of the band competition within the region, preferably 1st, 2nd, 3rd placer, must bring proof like trophy, certificate indicated therein the name of the competing group/band ;
2. Competing group/band shall be composed with a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of six (6) members;
3. Each competing group/band should have one (1) Original composition in Tagalog, Waray-waray or Bisaya and two (2) Cover songs from the Modern OPM Band;
4. Song Sequence to be followed:
1st Song - any Tagalog greatest hits song by 1980's OPM Band,
2nd Song - any original and covered song of KZ Tandingan and December Avenue or Re-arranged Rhythm (except hard rock), and
3rd Song - Original composition in Tagalog, Waray-waray or Bisaya; (it waray pa gin kanta last year)
5. Each competing group/band has an allotted time of 3 minutes to set-up instruments before the performance;
6. An allotted time of 3-5 minutes per song is given to each competing group/band to perform;
7. A point shall be deducted for every minute in excess of the allotted performance time ; and
8. Shall submit the following data in a long folder:
a. Band Name
b. Name of Band Members
c. Lyrics of three (3) preferred songs
d. Proof of Winning a photocopy (picture, certificate or
trophy)
