𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | ASYC 2026 Day 3: Rayhak Night

Day 3 ended with Rayhak Night, where delegates came together to enjoy music, performances, and each other’s company.

It was a meaningful time to celebrate culture and build stronger connections as one community.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | ASYC 2026 Day 3 Morning Highlights

The third day of ASYC 2026 began with a moment of grace through the Holy Hour and Confession at the Assumption of Our Lady Parish, led by Rev. Fr. Michael Kirby Lauron. In the silence before the Blessed Sacrament, delegates found peace, healing and the courage to let go and trust in God’s mercy.

The morning continued with Plenary Session 2 featuring Ms. Candy Pangilinan, who brought both joy and inspiration through her reflections on living as GIOS: Overcomers of Faith. Her message reminded everyone that following Christ is not only meaningful, but also filled with hope and joy.

Indeed, it was a morning rooted in prayer, renewal and renewed strength in faith.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Day 2 of ASYC 2026

The day began with the Holy Mass, followed by an inspiring talk by Bro. Audee Villaraza on taking courage in Christ.

Delegates participated in the get to know you and track sessions, fostering connection and growth. The day concluded with a solemn Taizé and Celebration of Light, held despite the rain.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Day 1 Highlights at ASYC 2026 ✨

Day 1 of ASYC 2026 in Tanauan, Leyte began with a solemn Opening Mass at the Assumption of Our Lady Parish, bringing everyone together in prayer and reflection. It was followed by the vibrant Parade of Delegates, where each Vicariate proudly showcased their colors, banners, and unity as one Sangkay community.

As the evening came, the energy shifted to celebration at the Tanauan Amphitheater, where delegates shared their talents, culture, and joy as one community.

Day 1 truly felt like the beginning of something special full of faith, unity, and moments we’ll always remember.

IN PHOTOS | ACCEPTANCE AND SEND-OFF RITES OF THE ARCHDIOCESAN YOUTH CROSS

Last April 7, 2026, the Commission on Youth of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish – Mahaplag brought the Archdiocesan Youth Cross to our parish. Through this sacred symbol, we have experienced the presence of Christ among us, strengthening our faith and unity as one youth community.

Today, April 9, 2026, the youth ministers of our parish send off the Youth Cross to Saint Michael the Archangel Parish – Javier. As we journey forward and prepare for the Archdiocesan Summer Youth Camp 2026, may we continue to grow in courage, deepen our faith, and persevere with joy in serving the Lord.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | EASTER SUNDAY

With hearts full of joy, we gathered to celebrate the glorious Resurrection of our Lord. From the silence of the tomb came the promise of life, reminding us that hope is never lost and love always triumphs.

The Mass was presided over by our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Ricardo D. Mendoza.

Christ is Risen! Light has conquered darkness!

As we journeyed through the darkness, we were reminded that light always overcomes. Together, we celebrated the victory of life over death and the promise of new beginnings in Christ.

Peace and all good, brothers and sisters in Christ!

We invite everyone to join us this Black Saturday (Sabado Santo), April 4, 2026, as we prayerfully observe this sacred day of waiting and hope.

Let us come together as a community in our scheduled activities—from the Station of the Cross, Viaticum, and most especially the Easter Vigil at 9:00 PM, where we joyfully celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord.

May this be a time to deepen our faith, reflect on Christ’s sacrifice, and prepare our hearts for the glory of Easter.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The community of the Alliance of the Two Hearts Parish in Marian Hill joined a solemn procession towards the proper of Brgy. Balocawehay, Abuyog, Leyte, together with the reenactment of the Live Stations of the Cross.

Through each station, the faithful reflected on the suffering of Christ, offering quiet prayer and devotion this Holy Saturday.
