AT THE MOMENT:

Collaborative National Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Summit

This summit aims to equip and guide LGUs in fulfilling their roles under the AFMech Law and related policies, while also updating them on the latest developments in agri-fishery mechanization, infrastructure projects, and the localization of the Farm-to-Market Road Network Plan (FMRNP). More specifically, it seeks to clarify the responsibilities of LGUs as outlined in R.A. No. 10601 (AFMech Law), the DA-DILG Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2018-01, and other related issuances; share updates on the localization and implementation of the FMR Network Plan; discuss the implications of R.A. 12215 on mechanization and infrastructure planning; provide an overview of BAFEโ€™s current regulations and how these guide LGU implementation; strengthen the participation of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (ABEs) in local agricultural offices; and enhance their technical knowledge and skills while gathering their perspectives on the current state of the profession.
