The Woods' Walkabout - Bringing Papua New Guinea God's Word Family of 5 Translating the Bible with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea. Supporting this work through the charitable gifts of ministry partners.

Working with 11 language communities of the Aitape West Translation Project. Papua New Guinea is one of the most diverse nations in the world concerning culture and language. There are over 830 different spoken languages in a country that is about the size California. There are still almost 300 language groups that need a Bible translated into their language. This page is meant to communicate with

our ministry partners and anyone else interested in following our adventures. We will share updates concerning how Wycliffe is working in Papua New Guinea. We will share details of how to partner with us through prayer, encouragement, and financial partnership.

At Christmas we celebrate the wonder that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
This season we’re thankful for God’s faithfulness during furlough and for His clear provision as we prepare to return to Papua New Guinea in January. Grateful for each of you who pray, give, and walk with us in our Wycliffe ministry. 🎄✨
