Wonderful to see this group of young Territorians taking positive steps towards their future.

We're especially pleased to see Lailarni (second from right) working towards a Certificate III in Business through a school-based traineeship. Opportunities like these provide valuable experience beyond the classroom and a chance to put learning into practice.

We’re excited to welcome Abby Janelle Marcus, Leo Caldwell, Lailarni Davidson-Hewitt and Kimberly Graham to their traineeship journeys with Jacana Energy. 👋

This new cohort is gaining hands-on experience in triage and customer care while working towards their business qualifications:

📚 Leo, Abby and Kim are undertaking a Certificate IV in Business through RTO Institute of Skills and Training Australia.

📚 Lailarni is undertaking a Certificate III in Business as a school-based trainee through the Santos Foundation program, with training also delivered through through RTO Institute of Skills and Training Australia.

The cohort is already settling into their roles, with Kim approaching six months into her traineeship, while Abby is our newest starter, having just wrapped up her first few weeks! 😊

As the Northern Territory’s largest electricity retailer, Jacana Energy supports the energy needs of more than 80,000 homes and businesses across the Territory.

We’re looking forward to watching them build their skills throughout their traineeships! 👌

New starter, big future! 👋🏽

Felix Foster has commenced his School-Based Apprenticeship as part of the Santos Foundation Program.

He’ll be completing a Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220) through Housing Industry Association - HIA, hosted to Boordiya Builders.

Boordiya Builders is a Darwin-based commercial construction company and the successor to TK Constructions NT. The name comes from the Noongar word meaning “boss” or “leader.”

Felix is looking forward to building his skills and gaining hands-on experience as he starts his apprenticeship.

We’re excited to support you throughout your apprenticeship, Felix!

Solar power and early childhood literacy library boost health and education in PNG

We are thrilled to have officially launched two community-led initiatives in Papua New Guinea, supporting early childhood education in Paua, Hela Province and strengthening healthcare services in Inu, Southern Highlands Province.

From a new Literacy Library giving young children a strong start, to a solar-powered health facility improving care for more than 3,000 people, these initiatives are helping respond to real community needs where it matters most.

Built alongside local partners, leaders, teachers and health workers and community, this is what meaningful, lasting impact looks like in action.
