Truth

People who grow careers solve problems. People who stagnate protect job descriptions.

Nobody gets promoted because they only do what they're paid for. High performers understand something many people don't:
▪️ Organizations reward value, not excuses.

When problems arise, average employees say:
❌ "That's not my job."

Exceptional employees ask:
✅ "How can I help?"

Going beyond your role doesn't mean being exploited. It means building trust, influence, and opportunities. Because careers don't grow inside job descriptions. They grow through contribution. Become known for solving problems, not avoiding them.

Most restructures fail because they focus on positions - not performance.

A PROPER STRUCTURE SHOULD HAVE:

▪️ Leadership → Clear direction & accountability
▪️ Corporate Services → HR, Finance, Procurement, Admin
▪️ Planning & Policy → Strategy, M&E, data, reform
▪️ Operations → Service delivery & implementation
▪️ ICT → Digital systems & efficiency
▪️ Communications → Public engagement & trust

THE REAL PROBLEM:

▪️ Overlapping roles
▪️ Unclear responsibilities
▪️ Weak accountability
▪️ Slow decision-making

If roles are unclear, performance becomes unclear.
And when performance is unclear… delivery fails.
