Students from our School of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (MCS) who participated in the Digital Transformation Summit 2025 Hackathon (24–27 November 2025) made us proud!

🎉 Congratulations to Team TechStack — led by Susan Atsimb (BSCS 3) with team members Essorom Sigiamo (BSCS 3), Elisha Breria (BSCS 2), and Mosua E. Mosua (BSCS 2) — for securing 1st Runner Up with their project TechPass D.E.R.S.

TechPass D.E.R.S (Digital Enrollment and Registration System) is a cloud-based application designed to streamline enrollment and registration for tertiary institutions, making the entire process faster, smarter, and more efficient for both students and administrators.
Slogan: “simple, secure, registered.”

👏 We also acknowledge Team Innov8 — led by Ambrose Tuckayo (BSAM 3) with Francis Abei (BSAM 3), Samuel Lahis (BSCS 3), Louisa Sianot (BSCS 2), and Christopher Kusunan (BSCS 3) — for representing our school with SevisEd, a centralized student records platform.
Slogan: “connect, verify, educate.”

A big thank you to the Department of ICT (DICT), PNG Unitech, and our MCS Head of School, Dr. Mohsen, for their continuous leadership and support.
We also extend our appreciation to Dr. Mirou and Dr. Singh for stopping by during the event and showing their support — it meant a lot to the students.

Special thanks to Priscilla Kevin and Sailen Kotecha for their guidance and mentorship throughout the hackathon. Their encouragement and insights helped shape the students’ ideas and boosted their confidence during the competition.

We are proud of our students for representing MCS and PNG Unitech with innovation, teamwork, and excellence. 💙👏
