BSP PNG Games 2017 West New Britain The BSP PNG Games is the 7th and will be hosted in WNBP. Governor of WNB and the HOC is committed to delivering a successful BSP PNG Games come Nov 18 2017.

The PNG Games concept is an initiative of the PNG Sports Foundation supported by the National Government and funded by individual host Provincial Governments. It was introduced in 2003 in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province, as a stage for grassroots sports men and women to showcase their talents in a competitive arena with the hopes of unearthing talents that could represent the country at the hig

hest level. The concept has grown from strength to strength to become the largest and most popular grassroots-sporting spectacle in the country involving participation from all our provinces. On average an estimated 9000 athletes and officials meet to compete at the PNG Games every two years. The Governor of the Province, Hon. Sasindran Muthuvel and the Provincial Administration as well as the Host Organising Committee, WNBP are fully committed to ensuring the benchmark of these Games are set to a high standard. West New Britain is a progressive province with strong economic growth, fueled by the expansion of oil palm and forestry sectors and the service sectors. Oil palm crude oil and timber are the major export that drives the economy to impacting development and growth to a large extent.
