If you tuned in live on TV Wan tonight you will catch the glimpse of the Bakovi Kabu Taku Development Association Inc Youths dancing the AVore on stage here at Sir John Guise Stadium. It was truly an honour to share the stage with other 22 provinces with us representing the proud West New Britain Province. Thank you to our students at POM Tech and UPNG for always holding on to our culture, 50 years today and we strive to inspire and pass on the rich culture of the Bakovi Tribe to our Kids and their kids to come. Bakovi and Proud.

I would like take this time to thank the Executive and the members of Bakovi Kabu Taku Association for appointing me as the new President of the Association.

I'm truly humbled and I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for entrusting me with this responsibility.

Greetings Kabu Kabu (Family).🙌🏻💙

The Bakovi Kabu Taku Association would like to thank everyone who turned up on Saturday 5th July 2025 for our hotdog fundraising

Firstly, we want to thank the kind friends, strangers and families that turned up at our stall to show their support by purchasing our hotdogs and commit little contributions towards our fundraising! ✨

We also extend our thanks to Talasea students from POM Tech, UPNG and DBTI who showed up in numbers to support run the fundraising till the end. The association commends you for your tireless efforts👏 Our gratitude also extends to those who helped us by providing transportation, Island Uber Service (Hillary Talingapua and family)🙏💯.

Finally, a word of appreciation also extend to Shop & Shop Waigani Central Branch and it's management team for giving us this opportunity to run our second mimi fundraising at their storefront. Avilolo Kamumu hateka.
