Why do organizations like Sayariy exist?
Because for millions of people, access to basic rights is still not guaranteed.
For many of us, clean water, education, healthcare, libraries, safe community spaces, and opportunities for personal growth are things we rarely have to think about. They are simply part of everyday life.
But in many rural and marginalized communities in Peru, these rights remain out of reach.
In 2024, more than one in four Peruvians lived in poverty. In rural areas, nearly four out of every ten people faced poverty, often alongside limited access to quality education, healthcare, infrastructure, and essential services.
What happens when a child wants to learn but has no books?
When a student has dreams but no safe place to study?
When women have the potential to lead but lack opportunities and support?
When mental health services are unavailable?
When preventable health problems go untreated?
When families struggle to access clean water, nutritious food, cultural activities, or spaces where communities can gather and thrive?
These are not luxuries.
They are human rights.
This is why Sayariy exists.
We work alongside communities to help bridge gaps that should not exist in the first place:
📚 Educational scholarships for children and youth.
📖 Academic support and access to community libraries.
🏛 The creation and strengthening of educational and community spaces.
👩 Leadership development and empowerment opportunities for women.
🧠 Preventive mental health care and emotional support.
🩺 Community-based physical health promotion and prevention.
💧 Access to safe water
🥗 Programs that support food security and nutrition.
🎭 Opportunities for recreation, culture, and personal development.
🤝 Community centers where vulnerable individuals and families can find support, connection, and hope.
Our goal is to stand with communities while advocating for a future where every child can learn, every family can access healthcare, every woman can lead, and every person can live with dignity—regardless of where they were born or how much money they have.
And because a more just world begins when rights become realities for everyone.
