We are a nonprofit organization, established with the primary objective of improving and developing the abilities and skills of deprived children and adolescents, providing much-needed aid to those who live in the rural areas of Trujillo - Peru. Our main fields of operation are in Schools, Medical Clinics of poor communities where international volunteers are placed to assist the local staff.

Monday afternoons are just getting sweeter & sweeter 💞

It starts with healthy nutrition class led by our nutritionist Viky, who does an outstanding job of connecting with the women.

It follows with Mommy & Me playtime an early stimulation program for mothers & their babies led by our psychologist, Ana.

Needless to say, a fantastic way to start the week 🫶🏽☺️

Knock knock. Who’s there? Half a roof 😜

But wow.…..
Watching a building come to life has been absolutely. fascinating. And it’s MADE BY HAND, by man. The people behind this process are sooo smart, calculated, strong, & creative.

The chief constructor, Segundo, is from the same community as CESAPU - Centro de Salud Pública. He is a gift from God and an absolute angel in our path. 🫶🏽🫶🏽

It’s an honor and a dream come true to see this project finally coming to fruition. The idea first came to us in 2020 … it’s been 6 years waiting & hoping!

We can’t wait to walk through the halls and show it all to you… Just wait till we have our whole roof! 🫶🏽🤭

In the meantime, our team will keep working Send them some good vibes and some love! They soooo deserve it. Cabanillas, Miller, Vladimir, Deiver, and a few others.

Welcoming Matt & Ana, two 4th year med students from UCSD!

They’ve joined Nicky (public health student from UNCW) in health campaigns & hospital rotations as a part of their final rotation of med school before graduating and entering residency.

Matt (left) is super skilled in physical therapy, and Ana (right) in Emergency! They work alongside Dra. Diana, Cindy, and other Peruvian health professionals to learn about the healthcare system of Perú, and also to get some hands on experience! Also practicing their medical Spanish 😌

“What I did in one day here, is the same I would do in one week in USA” - Ana, as she rotates in surgery 🫶🏽

With their help, we’re also hosting a sexual & reproductive health course in a local high school. 😊

Full throttle!

3 weeks into building our second floor … 😍😍😍 Walls & columns are going up!

Watching the kids celebrate their future play space was definitely the highlight of the building process, thus far 😊☺️
