At Rhiza Coffee Co., our mission is simple, we use coffee to provide holistic care, job skills, and mentorship to youth aging out of orphan care in Perú.
We’re looking for passionate, service-minded leaders to join our Board of Directors and help guide our growing impact.

Jose just turned 18. He aged out of the orphanage system—and suddenly, he’s on his own. No job. No training. No idea how to survive.

And he’s not the only one.

67% of youth who age out of orphan care in Latin America are unemployed. Even the ones who do find work often still live below the poverty line.

This isn’t okay.
But we can change it.

At Rhiza, we’re raising $10,000 by April 25 to open a training center in Peru—a place where Jose and others like him can actually learn the skills they need to build a future.

We’ve already started with a mobile café. Now it’s time for something permanent.

Last month, Rhiza Coffee Co had the incredible opportunity to serve at the Peru por los Niños Conference in Trujillo, Peru—offering handcrafted coffee and fresh pastries from our mobile coffee truck to the amazing participants who gathered to advocate for and invest in the lives of children across Peru.

We believe coffee can be a powerful force for good, directly supporting initiatives that empowering communities—creating jobs, building relationships, and sparking long-term change. Serving at this event wasn’t just about coffee; it was about connection, compassion, and contributing to something bigger.

✨ Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to taste something special for Rhiza—a coffee from **Finca El Corazón** that might just make its way to our offerings!

The farm grows exclusively Bourbon coffee, and they also have another farm dedicated to growing the sought-after Geisha variety. This one is a washed process with a multi-day fermentation, creating layers of flavor that left me excited about what’s to come.
