In the community of Chiaraje, restoration doesn't just happen on the mountains; it begins in the classrooms and in the hearts of families. While Professor Diego guides his students, mothers like Andrea watch with pride as their children become guardians of the earth.
"Mom, when are these little plants going to grow?" they ask her. And the answer lies in every hand that touches the roots today. Because restoring the Polylepis forest ensures that water and life will never be lacking for those who come after.
