It’s , and if you're ready to take on an opportunity to give back to those who served, now's your chance!

We’ve partnered with Onward Ops to offer a Transition Support Program (TSP) to Texas veterans. For just two hours a month, you can make a meaningful difference—helping a veteran navigate their transition to civilian life with greater confidence and support. This all-virtual program connects transitioning veterans with volunteers who provide encouragement, practical guidance, and a steady source of support during a pivotal time.

These veterans are our neighbors, friends, and members of our community, and they deserve support as they begin their next chapter. Help turn what can be a challenging transition into a more manageable—and less isolating—journey for our veterans by signing up to become a sponsor: https://endeavors.org/onward-ops-application/

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As an organization that supports active-duty service members, veterans, and their families, this day holds deep meaning for our community. Many of us at Endeavors feel this day personally—through our own service, our families, and the loved ones we have lost. The gratitude, remembrance, and reflection run deep.

We invited our employees to share who they are remembering this Memorial Day, and we are honored to lift up those reflections here.

💙 Max Knoll is remembering Thomas "Eddy" Edwards
"He was in my squad for both of my Iraq tours. We both worked as special operators, airborne linguists, attached to Army units. He was such a sweet person and an extremely talented operator. He tragically lost the battle with su***de upon our return."

💙 Natalia Morales is remembering her grandfather, Antonio Morales Ortiz
"My abuelito was such a beautiful person. He was the perfect example of what a great man is. He was funny and so caring. I miss him dearly. I am proud of him for his service to our country in the US Army during the Korean war."

💙 Katie Polendo is remembering her father, SSG David Staats
“He served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army with the 1st Cavalry Division as a Cavalry Scout, and he carried that role with incredible courage, strength, and pride… On December 16, 2006, my dad was killed in action… That loss changed my life forever, but so did the example he left behind… I will always carry pride in knowing who he was and what he stood for… His bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten, and I hope to live in a way that honors the legacy he left behind… He was a hero to many, but most importantly, he was my dad.”

At Fairweather Family Lodge, community is at the heart of everything we do.

For more than 20 years, mothers with mental health diagnoses and their children have found more than a safe place to stay - they’ve found belonging. In shared spaces and everyday moments, families encourage one another, build routines, and begin healing together.

This is the power of community, compassion, and partnership - coming together to create lasting change.

As we close out the Month of the Military Child, we're stepping back to recognize the resilience of more than one million American children with active-duty parents, as well as the approximately two million who have experienced a parental deployment since 2001. These numbers highlight the ongoing need for strong military family support—and that’s where our Cohen Clinic team comes in. 🤝

Across four locations, our Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic teams consistently support military children through therapy sessions, community events, and support groups, ensuring they receive the care they need while strengthening the entire family unit.

Shoutout to our clinic teams for wearing purple this month in support of military children! 💜 The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, San Antonio The Steven A. It’s , and we’re taking a moment to do just that – recognize the folks who help us serve our clients!

In 2025 alone, we had 377 volunteers who contributed thousands of hours (9,553, to be exact!) across efforts ranging from supporting our Kerrville neighbors here in the Hill Country to making the holidays special for families through our Blessing Tree each Christmas.

So, to anyone who has shared their time and talents with us – THANK YOU! 🩵

At Endeavors, care, compassion, teamwork, and community engagement guide everything we do. 💙

Breakfast for the Brave, an official Fiesta San Antonio event, brought veterans, first responders, families, community partners, and local leaders together at The Rock at La Cantera to honor those who have served and those who continue to serve our community.

We’re grateful to the sponsors whose support helped make the morning possible:
Reach Resilience | CDW Corporation | Whataburger | Hilley & Solis Law

The event featured free breakfast for veterans and first responders, family friendly Fiesta® activities, meaningful connection, and our Resource Row, which connected attendees to trusted organizations offering mental health support, wellness services, education, benefits navigation, and community programs.

We were also proud to spotlight vendors with strong ties to the veteran and first responder community, including veteran owned businesses whose work supports those who serve.

With sincere gratitude, thank you to our partners, entertainers—including the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard, 323rd Army Band “Fort Sam’s Own,” the Spurs Coyote, and Mariachi Nuevo Estilo—and to everyone who helped create a meaningful celebration of service, gratitude, and community.
