SOS SUP Titicaca Uros

SOS SUP TITICACA UROS is a non-profit association, whose purpose is to promote and support the practice
of Stand-up Paddle as a high-performance discipline among children, young people and
adolescents in Peru, especially in those areas that, due to their conditions,
require external support for their development. Uros are the oldest native group in Titicaca and recognized by Peru government as lake protectors. Paddling a board is natural for Uros and we aim to make SUP accessible providing equipment, training facilities, a regular school activity, a competitive sport for children and a non polluting way to perform daily tasks. We promote the development of the human person in the sports and
cultural fields, affirming the personality of the individual as well as empowerment of women through competitive sports practice.
