📚✨ We’re embarking on a new learning journey! ✨📚

On April 29, 2026, the new Community Education Program for the children of the Villa Belén settlement was launched amid great anticipation. Operation San Andrés’s motto is: “Where there is a community kitchen, an educational program and preventive health care must also be implemented.”

This new educational initiative is a space created to continue providing learning and development opportunities to more children from families in Collique’s 4th Zone, where 13 community kitchens operate, providing food to the children.

💙 We thank all the parents who are interested in their children receiving a well-rounded education, and together we will continue building a better future for children to overcome poverty.

✨ We continue to grow and reach more children in the communities!

🎒✨ Distribution of School Kits – 2026 Educational Program ✨

On Thursday, March 26, 2026, school kits were distributed to the boys and girls participating in the Operation San Andrés 2026 Educational Program.

Each student received a kit containing a backpack made by Operation San Andrés and school supplies: notebooks, markers, crayons, white and colored paper, glue, pencils, and a ruler.

Parents witnessed the support that Operation San Andrés provides for their children’s educational development, thereby strengthening our shared commitment to the children’s education.

We are delighted to be able to contribute tools that will help our students continue their learning journey with enthusiasm and motivation this year.

🌟A Closing Ceremony Full of Smiles and Talent – Closing Ceremony of the 2026 Summer Workshops 🌟

On March 13, 2026, the closing ceremony of the 2026 Summer Workshops of the Operación San Andrés Educational Program took place, an event where the children’s learning, creativity, and joy took center stage.

With 150 attendees, including children, parents, teachers, and staff, we shared moments filled with emotion as we watched each child demonstrate what they had learned throughout the workshops.
Every round of applause, every smile, and every proud look from the parents reminded us how important it is to provide children with spaces where they can learn, express themselves, and grow with confidence.

💙 Thank you to all the teachers, OSA staff, and parents who made this wonderful experience possible. But above all, thank you to our children, whose joy and talent filled this day with unforgettable moments.

✨ With the guidance of the Lord Jesus, we will continue working to create more spaces that inspire, educate, and help our children shine!

Late last year, Operación San Andrés entered into a partnership with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency in Peru (ADRA) aimed at poverty relief. An initial achievement from this cooperative agreement came about a few weeks ago when ADRA-PERU donated three tons of yogurt to OSA. In turn, OSA delivered 288 units of yogurt to each of the 64 soup kitchens supported by Operación San Andrés. OSA has been providing non-perishable food items such as beans, rice, sugar, lentils, and cooking oil to many of these soup kithchens since the global pandemic of 2000.
