Dropping off another care package for my daughter, Bretley. For more than 12 years, I have sent her a care package every single month without missing one. Today is no different. Bretley is now 16 years old, and despite being denied contact with her for over 12 years, I have never stopped showing up, never stopped trying, and never stopped loving her. Every package is a reminder that she has a mother, brother, sister, grandparents, and an entire maternal family who love her and think about her every day. Sometimes the only way we see her is through photos her sister finds online, but we hold onto hope that one day Bretley will know the truth: she was never abandoned, never forgotten, and never stopped being loved. 💜 I love you Bretley . 💜 Always - Mom
