The Foundation
We are a nonprofit organization based in South America - Peru. As a foundation our main goal is rescuing, preserving, promoting, and continue with the cause of development and innovation of the multiple and various pre-Hispanic cultures. This vast ancient knowledge is an endless source of knowledge, cultural background, tangible wealth, immeasurable ancient heritage. Cur
rently the main Wiracocha Foundation mission is to rescue the extensive agricultural wisdom hidden in the many surviving vestiges to the Spanish conquest. Between archaeological remains, knowledge preserved and transmitted by numerous indigenous generations, ethnobotany, folklore, etc. These make up the broad agricultural technological legacy of the pre-Hispanic cultures that we need to keep. Through the enhancement of ancient agricultural engineering, coupled with modern techniques, we seek to promote agricultural innovation to the future. This involves promoting, safeguard and promote hundreds of still existing and unknown crops in Peruvian territory. Through this great axis of participatory work seek to benefit important socio-economic aspects of our field of action, and in this way give efficient and sustainable solutions to the existing problems. La Fundación
Somos una organización sin fines de lucro de base en Sudamérica Perú. Como fundación nuestro principal objetivo es rescatar, preservar, promover y continuar con la voluntad de desarrollo e innovación de las múltiples y diversas culturas prehispánicas. Este vasto saber ancestral es fuente interminable de conocimiento, bagaje cultural, riqueza tangible, herencia ancestral incalculable. Actualmente la principal misión de Fundación Wiracocha es rescatar la amplia sabiduría agrícola oculta en los múltiples vestigios sobrevivientes a la conquista española. Entre restos arqueológicos, conocimientos conservados y transmitidos por numerosas generaciones indígenas, etnobotánica, folklor, etc. Conforman el amplio legado tecnológico agrícola de las culturas prehispánicas que necesitamos seguir conservando. A través de la puesta en valor de la ingeniería agrícola ancestral buscamos promover la innovación agraria a futuro. Esto implica el favorecer, salvaguardar y el fomentar los centenares de cultivos aun existentes y desconocidos en territorio peruano. A través de este gran eje de trabajo participativo buscamos beneficiar importantes aspectos socioeconómicos de nuestro ámbito de acción, y de esta manera dar soluciones eficientes y sostenibles a la problemática existente.
