🏁Medical Outreach in the Peruvian Amazon – Iquitos Region 🛶

We are excited to share a growing vision for medical outreach in the Amazon region of Peru, based in Iquitos.

As a ministry and outreach team, we are stepping into a new season of expansion, working alongside local medical professionals, local staff, and community leaders to bring healthcare, compassion, and hope to remote Amazonian communities.

These communities are located along the Amazonas, Nanay, and Itaya rivers, as well as areas accessible by the Iquitos–Nauta highway and nearby road systems.

Our teams travel approximately 1 hour each way (river or land) to reach families who have limited or no access to basic healthcare services.

🏥 Medical Outreach Team

Each campaign will include:

* Physicians (General Medicine)
* Dentist
* Pharmacist
* Nurses
* Pastor for spiritual care
* Musician for community engagement
* Children’s program coordinator

We are committed to building this vision with local talent and local participation, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact.

❤️ Impact per Medical Campaign

Each outreach day is designed to serve approximately:

* 90 General Medicine patients
* 25 Dental patients
* 20 Vision care patients
* 40 Children in programs
* Around 175 people reached through medical care, prayer, and encouragement

Our goal is to conduct 2 medical campaigns per month, as resources allow.

🚤 Logistics & Support Needed

Each campaign requires:

* Medical support
* Medicines and supplies
* River boat or land transportation
* Meals for staff
* Temporary equipment (generator & portable dental unit rental)
* Coordination and logistics support

🌍 Our Vision

This is more than a medical project - it is a growing vision of service, faith, and transformation for Amazonian communities.

We believe in working together with local professionals and partners to bring sustainable impact and long-term change.

We are taking this step for the glory of God and the service of His people.

🌟 Debemos ser luz en medio de la oscuridad 🌟

Jesús nos llamó a ser luz para el mundo. En muchos pueblos de la Amazonía, cuando cae la noche, familias enteras quedan en completa oscuridad. Pero gracias a las lámparas solares GoodBulb Solar Light, estamos llevando algo más que iluminación: estamos llevando esperanza, seguridad y una muestra del amor de Dios.

Cada luz que llega a una comunidad permite que los niños estudien por la noche, que las familias se reúnan con seguridad y que las personas vean que no han sido olvidadas.

“Ustedes son la luz del mundo. Una ciudad situada sobre un monte no se puede ocultar.” - Mateo 5:14

A través de nuestro trabajo en la Amazonía, seguimos comprometidos a ser esa luz que transforma vidas y comparte el amor de Cristo en lugares donde más se necesita.

🪚Our church constructions and community service ministry through Amazon Healthcare Mission continues to grow, and we are grateful to see God answering prayers in remarkable ways.

As we travel throughout the Peruvian Amazon, we continue to encounter churches and community facilities that need repair, renovation, or expansion. These buildings are much more than places of worship - they serve as gathering spaces, centers for community meetings, places of refuge, and sources of hope for entire villages.

It is a blessing to be actively involved in projects that strengthen local ministries and support the communities they serve. Each completed project is an opportunity to share God’s love in a practical way and help create spaces where people can gather, grow, and be encouraged.

We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to partnering with more teams who share a passion for serving through construction, renovation, and community development.

🫶🏼 ¡Qué hermosa semana de bendición vivimos junto a Concordia Lutheran Church en la ciudad de Iquitos y la selva amazónica peruana! 🇵🇪

Estamos profundamente agradecidos por el esfuerzo, el trabajo, la dedicación y el corazón de servicio demostrado por cada integrante del equipo. Durante esta semana tuvimos el privilegio de servir a las comunidades de la Amazonía, compartiendo amor, esperanza y el mensaje de Cristo.

No solo trabajamos juntos, sino que también compartimos momentos de compañerismo, alegría, juegos y experiencias inolvidables explorando nuestra hermosa Amazonía.

Aunque hoy nos toca decir adiós, lo hacemos con gratitud en nuestros corazones y con la esperanza de volver a encontrarnos muy pronto. Que Dios bendiga abundantemente a cada uno de ustedes.

We are grateful to God for the arrival of these missionary brothers and sisters who have come to serve alongside us and help strengthen the work being carried out in the Peruvian Amazon.

🙏 🙏 We humbly ask for your prayers as we continue serving through Amazon Healthcare Mission.

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. As we travel throughout the Amazon region, we see many churches in need of repair, communities with limited access to healthcare, and families facing daily challenges.

Pastors and church leaders play a vital role in their neighborhoods, villages, and communities. They faithfully share the hope of Christ and care for those around them. Yet many of them also carry their own burdens- physical pain, health concerns, and personal struggles - while continuing to serve the Lord with courage and a deep hunger for God’s Word.

We are grateful for every brother, sister, church, and mission team that has answered God’s call to serve others. Thank you for your prayers, generosity, and willingness to strengthen the Body of Christ.

We praise God for sending faithful men and women to serve, encourage local churches, and bring hope to Iquitos and throughout the Amazon.

Please continue praying that God will provide strength, wisdom, resources, and more workers for His harvest field.
