Recent study in Choccepuquio. The village of Choccepuquio is a Quechua farming community located in the district of Ocobamba, in the province of Chincheros, in the Apurímac region of Peru.

Literacy is especially important for Quechua women because it provides greater access to education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and the ability to advocate for their families and communities. It also helps preserve and strengthen the Quechua language and cultural identity for future generations. Many Quechua-speaking women in rural Peru have historically faced barriers to education, making literacy programs a powerful tool for empowerment and meaningful participation in society.

Had a great time working with the children of Tupicocha. They enjoyed activities like games, music, puppets, Bible storytelling, and testimony presentations. We were also able to share the gospel with them and give out bracelets from ministry, along with warm hats and clothing for the little ones.

Three SETE (Seminary by Extension) courses were held in the regions of Huamanga and Huanta in Ayacucho, as well as in Chosica, Lima. The focus of these courses was the Gospel of John.

Participants gained a clearer understanding of the message of the Gospel, including the book’s historical context, central themes, and purpose. They also deepened their understanding of who Jesus is and the significance of His teachings.

On April 8th, we went to a school in Chaclacayo to minister to the children through our puppet ministry. We were able to perform a puppet show, tell stories, and share the gospel with them. We’re so thankful to the team for coming alongside our team and spending time with the kids.

Recent Bible Study Workshop in Chuschi (Cangallo - Ayacucho) 📖

Samuel Saccsara will be teaching a series of Bible study workshops in the village of Chuschi this year. There will be three workshops held throughout the year, all taught in Quechua to serve the local community.

At the end of the program, participants will have a graduation ceremony. The goal is to equip them so they can go out to nearby communities and remote villages to teach these same Bible workshops in Quechua.

This training is designed to help local believers share biblical teaching within their own language and culture, reaching areas that are often difficult to access.

We are still receiving reports from Christmas celebrations in Andean and jungle communities. This photo is from a celebration with the Asháninka village in Pichanaki, located in the central jungle region. The project was successful, and many families expressed their gratitude. While several reports are still pending, the overall impact has been very positive. We are so thankful for everyone’s prayers and support.
