Por eso, el sábado pasado por la tarde, las madres del proyecto Warmi tuvieron la oportunidad de conocerse mejor en un entorno natural a las afueras de Arequipa. ☘️🍃

¡Muchas risas y buen humor hicieron de la jornada un éxito! 😊

So last Saturday afternoon, the mothers of the Warmi project had the opportunity to get to know each other better in a natural setting on the outskirts of Arequipa. ☘️🍃

Intiwawa not only welcomes children, but also actively helps them improve their academic performance! 👏

Students’ progress is regularly monitored in three key areas: mathematics, and written and oral comprehension in Spanish. 📚

This is the first of three exams that they will take throughout the year, so that we can see how much they grow in Yachay! 🔝

¡Intiwawa no solo acoge a los niños, sino que también los ayuda concretamente a mejorar su rendimiento escolar! 👏

El progreso de los alumnos se monitorea regularmente en tres áreas fundamentales: matemáticas, comprensión escrita y oral en español. 📚

Estos exámenes tienen lugar tres veces al año, y la sesión de estos días es la primera asì que podamos controlar como los niños mejoran! 🔝

🌎 In many countries around the world, mothers—and women in general—find themselves having to struggle much more than others to participate fully in society.

For this reason, Intiwawa has launched a program called Warmi, in which mothers can receive appropriate training for their empowerment. The activities offered enable women to develop technical skills in textile craftsmanship, as well as leadership and personal competencies. 👩‍🎓☀️

A society in which women are better off is a better society for everyone! 🫶

🌎 En muchos países del mundo, las madres y, en general, las mujeres se encuentran teniendo que esforzarse mucho más que los demás para poder desenvolverse en la sociedad.

Por esta razón, Intiwawa ha lanzado un programa llamado Warmi, en el que las madres pueden recibir una formación adecuada para su empoderamiento. Las actividades propuestas permiten a las mujeres desarrollar habilidades técnicas de producción artesanal en el ámbito textil, así como capacidades de liderazgo y competencias personales. 👩‍🎓☀️

¡Una sociedad en la que las mujeres están mejor es una sociedad mejor para todos! 🫶

Hoy les presentamos el taller de tejido, a cargo de Anna y Claudia, ellas trabajan la motricidad y creatividad a partir del arte manual. Indistintamente si son niños o niñas hemos sido testigos de increíbles trabajos a cargo de nuestras maestras.

Este año recibimos a nuevos estudiantes y profesores con el objetivo de aprovechar al maximo este verano, venimos dando talleres de Arte, manualidades, danza, deporte, medioambiente, primeros auxilios y cocina. ¡Pronto mostraremos nuestros resultados!

Today we started our 2026 summer vacation program! This year we've recieved new students and teachers with the goal of enjoying summer! We're teaching classes on art, sewing, dance, sports, environmental care, first aid, and cooking! Stay with us to see how vacation program goes!

En Intiwawa vivimos una hermosa celebración navideña llena de alegría y momentos inolvidables. Los niños recibieron su tan esperado regalo de Navidad.
Un agradecimiento especial a Daniel Dittmar y al equipo de Focus Movement de Singapur por su generoso apoyo anual en la adquisición de los regalos para nuestros niños. Su contribución hace posible que estas celebraciones sean aún más especiales.

Christmas in Intiwawa! 🎄✨
At Intiwawa we experienced a beautiful Christmas celebration full of joy and unforgettable moments. The children received their long awaited Christmas present.
Special thanks to Daniel Dittmar and the Focus Movement team in Singapore for their generous annual support in procuring gifts for our children. Their contribution makes these celebrations even more special.
We also thanks the Nunamanta cultural association for the children's show.
