Sometimes, the most important projects are the ones that give a family hope.
For Project 120, we helped provide the assistance this mother’s son desperately needed.
Today, she shares her gratitude in her own words, and hearing a mother say “thank you” for giving her son a chance at better health is something we’ll never take for granted.
For us, it’s one project. For this family, it means everything. This is why we show up. 💙

En el Proyecto 120, ayudamos a proporcionar la asistencia que el hijo de esta madre necesitaba desesperadamente.

Sometimes, a little help can change everything.
For Project 119, we delivered beds, food, and pots and pans to a mother determined to give her daughters a better life.
These may seem like simple things—but to this family, they mean comfort, nourishment, and the chance to build a better home together.
And hearing a mother talk about what this help means to her makes every moment worth it.
This is why we show up.

En el Proyecto 119, entregamos camas, comida y utensilios de cocina a una madre decidida a ofrecer a sus hijas una vida mejor.
Puede que parezcan cosas sencillas, pero para esta familia significan comodidad, alimento y la oportunidad de construir juntos un hogar mejor.
Y escuchar a una madre hablar de lo que esta ayuda significa para ella hace que cada momento merezca la pena.

Sometimes, restoring dignity starts with something as simple as a safe place to shower.
For Project 118, we rebuilt a bathroom and shower that were badly in need of repair, and added a concrete walkway so this gentleman could safely access it.
It’s more than a renovation. It’s safety, dignity, and a little more comfort in everyday life.
This is why we show up. And with your support, we can keep showing up for those who need a helping hand. 💙

A veces, recuperar la dignidad empieza con algo tan sencillo como un lugar seguro donde ducharse.
Para el Proyecto 118, hemos reformado un cuarto de baño y una ducha que necesitaban urgentemente una reparación, y hemos añadido una pasarela de hormigón para que este señor pudiera acceder a ellos con seguridad.
Es más que una reforma. Es seguridad, dignidad y un poco más de comodidad en la vida cotidiana.

Project 117 💙
It was raining when we arrived. But when a family needs help, you don't wait for perfect weather.
We installed a new water containment tank to help this family have reliable access to water when they need it most.
It may look like a simple tank. But what it provides is so much more: security, peace of mind, and one less thing to worry about.
Rain or shine, we'll keep showing up for our community.

Llovía cuando llegamos. Pero cuando una familia necesita ayuda, no se espera a que haga buen tiempo.
Hemos instalado un nuevo depósito de agua para ayudar a esta familia a tener un acceso fiable al agua cuando más lo necesitan.
Puede parecer un simple depósito. Pero lo que ofrece es mucho más: seguridad, tranquilidad y una preocupación menos.

Two classrooms. Two new air conditioners. One cooler place to learn. 💙
For Project 116, Hombres de Acción returned to Los Asientos School with a simple goal: help make the classroom a little more comfortable for the students who spend their days there.
We installed two brand-new air conditioning units—one in each classroom.
Because when students are more comfortable, they can focus more on learning, growing, and building their future.
And none of this happens without the support of people who believe in our community. Your support helps us keep showing up—and saying yes when there’s a need. 💙

Dos aulas. Dos nuevos aparatos de aire acondicionado. Un lugar más fresco para aprender. 💙
Para el Proyecto 116, Hombres de Acción volvió al colegio Los Asientos con un objetivo sencillo: ayudar a que el aula fuera un poco más cómoda para los alumnos que pasan allí sus días.
Instalamos dos aparatos de aire acondicionado nuevos, uno en cada aula.
Porque cuando los alumnos se sienten más cómodos, pueden concentrarse mejor en aprender, crecer y labrarse un futuro.

She didn't ask us to build it for her.
She asked us for something even more powerful: the opportunity to do it herself.
This determined woman wanted to level and expand the back of her home, and she was ready to take on the work. All she needed were the materials.
So, we showed up with sand, gravel, concrete mix, and blocks—and then we got out of her way and let her do what she was determined to do.
Because sometimes helping someone doesn't mean doing the work for them.
It means giving them the tools, believing in them, and giving them a hand up.
That's what empowerment looks like.
And that's why your support matters. Every donation gives us the ability to say "yes" when someone in our community is ready to build something better for themselves and their family. 💙

No nos pidió que se lo construyéramos.
Nos pidió algo aún más valioso: la oportunidad de hacerlo ella misma.
Esta mujer decidida quería nivelar y ampliar la parte trasera de su casa, y estaba dispuesta a asumir el trabajo. Lo único que necesitaba eran los materiales.
Así que nos presentamos con arena, grava, mezcla de hormigón y bloques… y luego nos apartamos para dejar que hiciera lo que se había propuesto.
Porque a veces ayudar a alguien no significa hacer el trabajo por él.
Significa darle las herramientas, creer en él y echarle una mano para que se levante.
Así es como se ve el empoderamiento.

When the rain comes, a roof should keep you dry—not remind you of everything that’s broken. For Project 114, we tore off a rusted, leaking roof, repaired the underlying structure, and installed a brand-new metal roof. And with rainy season in full force, the timing couldn’t be better. Now, when the rain comes down, this family can stay inside without worrying about leaks, damage, or what the next storm might bring. Sometimes, a roof is more than a roof. It’s protection. It’s security. It’s peace of mind. Your support helps us keep putting roofs over heads and hope into homes. 💙

Cuando llueve, un tejado debería mantenerte seco, no recordarte todo lo que está roto. Para el Proyecto 114, retiramos un tejado oxidado y con goteras, reparamos la estructura subyacente e instalamos un tejado metálico totalmente nuevo. Y con la temporada de lluvias en pleno apogeo, el momento no podía ser mejor. Ahora, cuando llueve, esta familia puede quedarse en casa sin preocuparse por las goteras, los daños o lo que pueda traer la próxima tormenta. A veces, un tejado es más que un tejado. Es protección.
