We had a great day out to Global Food Providers. What a remarkable achievement they have created here. Our club has donated a dehydrator to increase their production of superfood for the undernourished people here and hopefully more places around the world soon.

🎉 We’re So Excited — And So Proud! 🎉

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our amazing community, we now have 9 students registered for the next Caregiver Vocational Training Course starting at the end of August! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️💙

This program is changing lives — not only for the families who need help at home, but also for the local Panamanians gaining new skills, certification, and the opportunity to work in a deeply meaningful field.

💡 With your support, we're empowering compassionate individuals to become certified caregivers — trained by an accredited vocational institute right here in our region. And the best part? This is a community-led, charitable initiative fueled by heart, hope, and a whole lot of love.

🙏 Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to sponsor a student. Your support is already making a difference!

📢 There’s still time to get involved — if you know someone who might want to become a caregiver, or if you'd like to sponsor a student for just $120, please reach out to Orit Pines for all the details:

Let’s keep the momentum going! ❤️

🧡 Help Train the Next Group of Compassionate Caregivers! 🧡
Thanks to the great response and successful first course, we’re happy to announce that another Caregiver Training Program is being offered — and we need your help to make it happen!

Are you someone who might need help at home? Or do you simply want to support a great cause? We're inviting members of the Boquete community to sponsor a Panamanian student for just $120 to attend this upcoming caregiver training course.

👩‍⚕️ The course is:

Provided by an accredited vocational college for medical professionals

Taught in Spanish, for Panamanian participants

Designed to train caregivers in non-medical support for seniors at home: daily living assistance, personal care, mobility, and more

✅ The program offers a certification and is focused on helping grow a trusted local network of compassionate caregivers.

📅 The next session is already scheduled at the Boquete Library — so we’re looking to confirm sponsors and students now!

👉 For more information and the training outline,
📱 Message Orit Pines directly on WhatsApp: +507 6672-8478

Let’s work together to build care, connection, and opportunity in our community. 💛

This is not a Rotary project, but we at Rotary Club of Boquete Sunset are happy to help spread the word about this important initiative.

🌸 Community Announcement! 🌸

With more seniors choosing to call Boquete home, there’s a growing need for quality elder care services in our community. We at Rotary Club of Boquete Sunset are excited to help spread the word about the formation of an Aged Care program
for seniors interested in care at home with certified Caregivers trained to assist with daily living activities.

The program is being organized as a charitable project for our community by Orit Pines, a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience running in-home health care and adult daycare services in Florida. Orit is also partially sponsoring the training for local caregivers to make this service possible.

✅ Training will be provided by an accredited vocational medical staffing academy. Classes are in SPANISH.

Participants are carefully vetted, requiring a police clearance, high school diploma, and a clean bill of health. Knowledge of basic English and own vehicle will be given preference.

👉 These caregivers are not housekeepers or cleaners. However, if you already have a trusted someone in mind, you are welcome to enroll them in the program.

👉 Here’s how it works:
If you or a loved one need care, you’ll pay a one-time training fee of $120 for a certified caregiver! After that, you’ll work directly with your care to arrange their services and schedule. Orit will facilitate the process.

📞 Contact Orit for further details and course outline. Only 2 seats are available!
📱 WhatsApp: +507 6672-8478
📧 Email: [email protected]

We at Rotary are proud to help promote this program as a valuable resource to the community ❤
