شاركت يونيسف عُمان في فعالية التوعية بحماية الطفل التي نظمتها وزارة الصحة في مول مسقط بالمعبيلة يوم الجمعة الماضي الموافق 25 سبتمبر. شارك كل من آمنة عمر وفارس البوسعيدي، وهما من المناصرين الشباب لدى يونيسف عُمان، في حلقة نقاشية إلى جانب مختصين في مجال حماية الطفل، حيث تناولا موضوعي السلامة الرقمية والشمول. كما شاركا، إلى جانب فريق يونيسف عُمان، في توزيع كتيبات أنشطة على الأطفال والأسر بهدف تعزيز الوعي بحقوق الطفل والتعريف بها. نتقدم بالشكر الجزيل إلى وزارة الصحة على إتاحة هذه المساحة المهمة لإشراك الشباب في هذا الحوار البناء.
Youth voices for safer childhoods.
Last Friday, 25 September, UNICEF Oman joined the Ministry of Health's child protection awareness event at Mall of Muscat, Al Mabela.
Amna Omer and Faris Al Busaidi, two of our Youth Advocates, joined a panel alongside child protection professionals to speak on digital safety and inclusion. With the UNICEF Oman team, they also shared a coloring and activity book with children and families, to advocate for child rights and spread awareness of them.
Thank you to the Ministry of Health for making space for young people in this conversation.
For every child, protection.

Peace isn't signed in one room and then finished. It's built in ordinary places — a classroom that opens on time, a clinic that stays open, a water pipe that doesn't run dry, a child who sleeps through the night without having to be brave.
This year, the International Day of Peace asks us to invest in peace: for everyone, everywhere, every day.
For children, that investment has a name. Education. Health. Protection. Clean water. The things that make a childhood possible — and the first things lost when peace fails.
Peace is not the absence of war. It's what we choose to build in its place.

لا يُصنع السلام في قاعةٍ واحدة ثم ينتهي. يُبنى في الأماكن العادية: صفٌّ يفتح في موعده، وعيادةٌ تبقى مفتوحة، وأنبوب ماءٍ لا ينقطع، وطفلٌ ينام ليلته دون أن يضطر إلى الشجاعة.
يدعونا اليوم العالمي للسلام هذا العام إلى الاستثمار في السلام: لكل إنسان، في كل مكان، وكل يوم.
وللأطفال، لهذا الاستثمار اسم: التعليم، والصحة، والحماية، والماء النظيف. هي ما يجعل الطفولة ممكنة، وأول ما يُفقد حين يغيب السلام.
السلام ليس غياب الحرب، بل ما نختار أن نبنيه مكانها.
