It’s not intended so much for engagement in a critical situation as it is for instilling discipline in life and gearing up the individual to sharpen his/her intellect and instincts for suitable use in any situation. To honour the achievers of Oman, an Omani volunteering team launched a new initiative known as ‘Injazat Shabab Oman’ that documents the achievements of the Omanis.

The initiative was founded by Munther Al Mamari, an SQU graduate who studied Economics and Political Science and had a passion for meeting and exploring the lives and times of his fellow Omanis who brought pride to the nation.

His love for archiving began in college where he formed a student group consisting of his friends and released a university-special book titled Book of Innovations and Student Achievements that shed light on college students who had successful and victorious journeys.

The private sector in Oman is a key partner in the Sultanate’s efforts towards economic expansion and social development as embodied in Vision 2040, stated Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.

He noted, “His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has launched Oman Vision 2040, which focuses on attracting foreign direct investment and developing the private sector as a priority.”
