TOY OF THE WEEK ✨

This week is Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, so we’ve chosen a special featuring some of Aotearoa’s native birds!

The puzzle includes both te reo Māori and English names, making it a fun way for tamariki to learn and recognise some of our beautiful manu māori while they play.

A fun little way to bring te reo Māori into play at home! 💚

A MASSIVE thank you to PC Electrical, Mercury Twin Cinema, The Informer, Paradise Pets, Aligned Builders, RDP, Evolution Fitness, Harcourts and Hot Water Beach Construction for supporting our Whittaker’s Chocolate Slab Fundraiser by purchasing a box!

We also want to give a huge thank you to the handful of our amazing members who came in to grab a box, took a whole box off our hands, or helped us sell them.

We are so incredibly appreciative of all the support we have received. Every box sold helps support the Whitianga Toy Library and keeps our little community service going.

Thank you all so much! 💚🍫

Our 2026 Whitianga Toy Library Community Survey is now live.

Whether you are a member or not, we want to know what you think. What are we doing well? What could we improve? What would you like to see from the Toy Library in the future?

Anyone can have their say, so please take a few minutes to complete our survey and help us shape the future of the Toy Library.

We’re looking at making a few changes to our memberships, opening hours and toy collection, and we’d love to hear what our community thinks! The Toy Library is run by volunteers, and we want to make sure our membership options and opening hours work for the families, grandparents, holiday-home o...
