SeniorNet Whitianga mourns the passing of wonderful, accomplished, intelligent, Megan Hensen. Megan’s contribution to our group was immense and she was made a Life Member of SeniorNet. Our sympathies go out to her husband, John, and Megan’s family.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Megan Henson. A long time Tutor at Seniornet. She previously was the Chair of the Committee. She stepped back from the Committee about four years ago to concentrate on the Lions, where she was Chair of the Committee. She also held a weekly women's wellness group. She was knowledgeable, an excellent leader, communicator and never shirked from hard work. But what really impressed me about Meg was she derived happiness from helping others. She was one of the least selfish people I have ever met.
