Mercury Bay Lions are putting on Le Lunch - a fabulous village style 3 course lunch with entertainment and raffles for you to enjoy. Tickets will be available at the I-site from 13 July.

We had our dinner meeting last night and we celebrated Kings Birthday including singing his song, beautifully lead by Karen. Lots of fun as always but that quiz was tricky. Happy raffle winners and nice to welcome 2 guests along. Plus we were treated to a scrumptious sponge for dessert - thank you Rae.

Whitianga and Mercury Bay Lions are here at the run fest with sausages and bacon buns. The 21K runners have left, 10k leave at 10 then the 5k after that.
Come on down, grab a snack and cheer them on.

In the pink. Another excellent dinner meeting tonight at Grace O'Malley's Irish Inn celebrating an early Mothers Day with each of us receiving a lovely corsage. We had a fun quiz, Wendy received a service award for 23 years (amazing) plus we drew 2 bottle raffles and the dinner raffles. And as always the food was delicious and the company great.
