What an inspiring day of learning we’ve had in Te Tai Tokerau today. Cassie and Eileen took us through a fun-filled day of exploring new ways to jazz up our presenting styles which will be so beneficial for our parents and caregivers! Spent a great 2 days at The Child and Youth Health Symposium at AUT Friday and Saturday.

Something that spoke highly to the mahi we are trying to achieve was a presentation by Ruth Johnson on: Survival Parenting: Adolescent Emotional Dysregulation and Caregivers' Support-Seeking Experience in Aotearoa New Zealand and the message that

"If we want to improve adolescent health, we cannot overlook support for their parents"

Super inspiring. Thanks to all who presented and oragnised this event. Looking forward to the next one.

Tomorrow we will be at bunnings turning some sausages and keen to let you know what we're trying to achieve for Te Tai Tokerau. Come along and see us there!

For our Incredible Years parents, this week's session is our 2nd to last! We'll be talking about Natural & Logical Consequences.

For our Teens parents, we are looking at Anger and, interestingly enough, we also touch on the above!

Tulsi has new programmes starting in February!

SUPER EXCITING!!!!

IT'S HERE IN NORTHLAND!

We are starting up Incredible Years TODDLER programme. For parents of children aged 1-3 years old. It's been adapted to suit the younger age, so you no longer have to wait until they turn 3 to be able to benefit from these wonderful tools, and better yet, IT'S FREE!

If your children are older than 3, don't worry, we are still delivering the 3-8 year old programme free of charge too!

Registrations of interest open are open now for the February start. Please see below for details and pm for registration forms. First in, first served and only 16 spaces available.

Toddlers:
This is a 12-week programme and does not run for the two weeks of school holidays. It's open to parents with children aged 1-3years old. Held in person on a Tuesday morning in Tikipunga, starting week of February 23rd.

3-8 yr olds:
This is a 14-week programme and does not run for the two weeks of school holidays. It's open to parents with children aged 3-8 years old. Held in person on a Tuesday evening in Tikipunga, or online on a Wednesday morning, both starting week of February 16th.
