New Zealand Northern Chinese Association Inc Be the link, strengthen the tie between Northland Chinese and Kiwi communities; promote Chinese language & culture; support local old/new Chinese migrants.

New Zealand Northern Chinese Association Inc's objects are:

(a) To promote the well-being of Chinese in (but not limited to) the northern region of New Zealand by helping each other, encouraging social exchange and organising cultural events;
(b) To preserve and promote Chinese culture and heritage through language, music, performing arts and other art forms in Chinese and local communities;
(c)

To establish educational institutes and facilities that teach Chinese culture and heritage through language, music, performing arts and other art forms;
(d) To foster interest and create opportunity to participate in sports activities and events;
(e) To provide information and offer job and language assistance to new Chinese migrants to the region and help them settle and integrate into local communities;
(f) To initiate activities, collaboration and cooperation with other organisations with similar objectives
(g) To organise fundraising activities in order to meet the above objects;
(h) To do anything necessary or helpful to advance and fulfil the above objects.
