Dress for Success Northland Incorporated Our mission is to assist women to achieve economic independence by providing a support network, professional clothing and career development advice.

We are also proud to support men through Dress to Impress. At Dress for Success Northland, we are dedicated to empowering women entering or returning to the workforce by helping them build their confidence and achieve their unique vision of success. With the support of our network of passionate volunteers, we provide women with the tools they need to thrive — from skills training to interview preparation and work-appropriate attire. We also run a programme called Dress to Impress to support Northland men in their journey towards meaningful employment. We are an affiliate of Dress for Success Worldwide and our services are available to all Northlanders through self-referral or via referral from another agency. We Love donations at this time of the year when you might be spring cleaning your wardrobe and have quality items that we can repurpose for our clients. We accept both womens and mens clothing that you would've worn in the last 10 years that you no longer require. We are open for drop off donations Tues - Fri from 9am-2pm at 10-12 Butter Factory Lane, Whangarei or email [email protected] to arrange another time.

Taking Shape are hosting a SIP and SHOP clothing drive for Dress for Success Northland on Friday 5th June 1pm-2pm. You can donate and drop off interview appropriate clothing, accessories and shoes that you've worn in the last 5 years that you no longer need. Our one on one free of charge styling service provide our clients the clothing to look and feel their best. Join us in store at Taking Shape this Friday 5th June at 1pm, bubbles, juice and nibble provided along with a mini fashion show to show off the new winter collection. Look out for our Executive Manager Roimata Hawke who will be presenting and modelling at this event.
