Championship & Variation Class Reminder
Please check the Variation & Championship rules and ensure you are eligible for the classes you have entered ahead of the competitions this weekend 😊
Jazz & Tap Dance Championships
To be eligible, competitors must have previously placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in an Open Tap or Modern Jazz solo competition (Restricted classes excluded). Competitors must also have entered and performed in their age class solo.
• Tap Championships cannot be a straight Tango/Latin or Waltz Tap.
• Dancers aged 12 years & over must perform a different dance to their age class solo, and it must be three-speed.
• Under 12 years may repeat their age class solo, with the option of performing either two-speed or three-speed.
Modern Jazz Championships
Championship dances may be either Jazz or Musical Theatre.
• Dancers aged 12 years & over must perform a different dance to their age class solo.
• Under 12 years may repeat their age class solo.
🦢 Classical Ballet Variation Class
To be eligible, competitors must have previously placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in a ballet solo competition (Restricted classes excluded). Competitors must also have entered and performed in at least one ballet solo class.
