Whether that be a volunteer, ex/current committee members, a facilitator, a new mum, a parent who needed support etc

We WANT to see you, so we can share memories and thank you!

It is with great sadness that we share that Whangarei Parents Centre will be closing its doors as of 31st March 2026.

Due to upcoming changes to charity regulations, we will no longer meet the updated requirements to maintain our charitable status. Despite exploring every possible option, we are unable to continue operating under those rules.

This decision has not been made lightly. For many years, Whangarri Parents Centre has supported local families through pregnancy, birth and early parenting, and we are incredibly proud of the community that has been built.

The impact of this community will continue far beyond our closure.

We thank every volunteer, parent and supporter who has been part of this journey. Your involvement has made a lasting difference in the lives of so many families.

We will be extending an invite to come along and celebrate all that Whangarei Parents Centre has been and done in our community.

Pop Up Garage Sale is happening now!

The Pop Up Garage Sale is happening tomorrow!
9am - 11am
13A Te Mai Road, Horahora

Come along an grab a bargain, we want everything gone!

Toys, shoes, sleepsacks, clothing, books, and Bric-a-brac that's no longer needed at the centre.

Also a handful of other stallholders selling their items - there will be something for everyone!

Limited carparking down driveway, so please be mindful and cautious with people/children coming in and out.

Our last FILL A BAG Event was a success and we have another one coming up!
Now is the season to start clearing out the kids drawers, wardrobes and toys!
We are opening donations for this event and will post all the details soon!

Please get in touch with us if you have preloved items in EXCELLENT CONDITION (we don't want the items that need to be dumped with stains, holes and rips etc)

Let's help our community by recycling preloved items which keeps the cost down for many families in need!
